  1. I want a franchise LT and C at the very least. I don't care how we get them.
  2. He's a DE and we already have 3 fairly good ones on the roster. Makes no sense.
  3. Mock drafts are pointless now. We have a lot of money for FA's, so we don't even know what holes we'll have at draft time. That said, we can't go wrong with OL help unless 3 very good OL shake loose, but that's unlikely with the league wide OL talent drought. I don't think Phillips was all that great as a rookie. He wasn't terrible, but I think we can do better without breaking the budget and a beast of a DT wouldn't hurt us any with our perennially poor run defense.
  4. Well, there goes my answer. Kelley would be the obvious choice. Everyone else would be a distant 2nd.
  5. I'd be thrilled. He would instantly be the best player on our roster by a considerable margin. I don't want to get my hopes up too high, but what would we have to give up? Would it be worth it? McCoy is way better than anyone else on our roster, though. I could see this defense playing at a whole new level with him in the lineup and he fits the plan.
  6. I'd love to see Spain (G), Morse (C), Williams (OT) and Jarrett (DT) in Bills blue next year. Unlikely, but maybe 1 or 2 from that list?
  7. It would not surprise me to see Dawkins make that proverbial year 2 jump in year 3. I was disappointed in him this year.
  8. He sucks. He sucked in Buffalo. He sucked in Jacksonville and he will suck in Green Bay. HUGE mistake by the Packers.
  9. Accuracy is the single most important attribute of an NFL QB. Period. I'll grant you that it is not the only one or even the only necessary one for success, but that's just the way it is and Allen does not have accuracy. You either wake up with that or you don't and Josh doesn't. Sorry. Call it "precision" or "accuracy". Whatever you like. He throws off target even when receivers are just a few feet away. On deep throws, he often missed by several yards. He forces receivers to adjust to the ball and make difficult catches and often robs them of the ability to make more RAC yards. Flame away all you want. I'm just telling it like it is.
  10. Very accurate assessment. We have a QB that can run, but can't hit the side of a barn with his throws. Mayfield was the best in this class and it's not even close. Allen only hit over 50% of his passes in 2 games this season! I know people will flame me because they refuse to see it, but they'll get it sooner or later. Meanwhile, I'd take any of the other QB's that were drafted in round 1 over Allen.
  11. Yes, the run game was awful all year. We must have been stopped at 2 yards or less on most of our running plays other than Allen scrambles. We need at least 3 new starters on the OL with 2 being vast improvements and we also need Dawkins and Teller to take the next step. Dawkins was a real disappointment this year. I was looking for him to take the next step and he didn't.
  12. No doubt about it. Vander Esche is way better than Edmunds is right now, but let's see how they fare in 2019 before making any final judgement.
  13. McDermott actually did a solid coaching job this season, IMO. On the other hand, you're right about the process failing unless Allen can magically improve the natural ability of his right arm to throw accurate passes. As far as blowouts are concerned, we're rebuilding, so I don't whine about them like everyone else, but Allen needs to show that he was worth that #7 pick and that's unlikely. Robey-Coleman and Woods are very solid contributors on the Rams.
  14. We need to challenge and possibly win the AFCE next year. Anything less than 10 or 11 wins would be a real problem and (I'll get flamed for this) with Allen's accuracy issues, I just don't see it happening. We may win more games (7 or 8), but Allen's arm is our ceiling. They can't afford to hit the snooze button and just leave Allen unchallenged for the starting job after next year or we'll end up like the Dolphins with Tannehill -- maybe in the playoffs once in a while, but not really a threat.
  15. A QB that misses wide open receivers standing just a few feet away has the potential to be the #1 marquee player? Maybe if we move him to TE LOL.
  16. Which is where we are likely to be in a few years -- like Jacksonville and Miami. They took too long to realize that their QB's weren't all that good, but hung on to them too long because they invested so heavily in them. I hope we don't make the same mistake with Allen.
  17. There is nothing wrong with the current stadium. All this talk of remodeling and building new stadiums is just for PR. The money would be better spent on teachers' salaries and roads, etc. It's just a money making scheme.
  18. I think rex's failure on top of 4 bad seasons in NY have sealed his fate. This is especially true because his defenses in Buffalo sucked. He's finished. He won't even get a job as a DC, IMO.
  19. Even the yellow tiles show him to be below average. He needs to raise his completion percentage by 10% if he's going to take us to the promised land. I just watched the Detroit game again and he was missing open receivers all over the field. It was ugly.
  20. None of the above. I am a Bills fan from day 1. I couldn't care less about any other team. Period. If the franchise ever left Buffalo, I'd be done with football. Period.
