  1. He's just trying to attract attention to himself. Notice that he didn't mention how upset the coach was about Richie spewing racist crap during the playoff game. Perhaps he hasn't noticed that Richie is gone. Cheap shots sell newspapers.
  2. Teams seldom let solid OL walk these days, so the draft is going to have to be heavy on OL. I think drafting our new starting LT andC at a minimum. WR, CB and any other needs should be addressed as much as possible through FA. As far as the immediate future goes, I can't see any help coming. If we have the top pick, I'll be upset if we don't try to trade down. In any case, if they don'r draft the best OT in the draft and a top 3 C, next year will be difficult also.
  3. That's because they haven't got a clue. We're half way through a total organizational rebuild top to bottom. Give them a year or 2 to catch up.
  4. Not really. I fully expect 0-4, though I'm also glad we played better in the 2nd half of that Bolts game. Maybe McDermott needs to start calling the plays on defense from now on. They actually played very well in the 2nd half against a good offense. Gotta hand it to Lorenzo too. I thought his age would really show this year and it just might, but right now, he's playing very well. Horrible Harry is looking good so far as well.
  5. He is clearly the worst player on that OL, followed by Mills. I really want to see us move Dawkins to RT and use our 1st pick in the 2019 draft on a LT, then draft a new C on day 2. I hope PFF is right about Teller. That would leave Ducasse and Miller to slug it out for the other G spot unless they sign a G in FA or draft OT, G and C in the same draft. They might just do that too. I think we can fill in WR. CB and LB in FA.
  6. Got to be the OL because that's where we have the least talent and it's also where there is likely to be the least talent available in FA. We still are going to really need a WR that can take the top off the defense to make the best use of Allen's arm strength and open things up underneath for shorter routes, possession receivers and the run game.
  7. 3. Lorenzo and Hughes played well. 4. Harry Phillips looks decent early on. 5. Josh Allen didn't get killed.
  8. In cae no one has noticed, Harry Phillips has played pretty well.
  9. It looks like his career is finished. I understand why they took a chance on him, but the injuries have taken their toll. Good guy and once a great player, but no longer.
  10. WR's and CB's are a lot more available than good OL, right? There are very few quality OL in the NFL right now.
  11. I know Trent Murphy is still not 100%. Will he still get limited snaps with Lawson ailing? Davis was a probowler. Now he can't even win a starting job? Is it his health? Maybe past injuries have caught up to him. Does anyone know more?
  12. Josh isn't ready for this. He has the worst OL in the league and very little at WR. I suggest tempering expectations. He may turn out OK, but it's very unlikely that he'll find much success this year.
  13. We'll be 0-2. Other than that, nothing. There aren't going to be any major roster moves.
  14. Why do people think McCoy needs to be replaced? He doesn't. What we need to do is keep all of our draft picks and draft a LT and C in the top 2 or 3 rounds because teams won't let good OL walk these days. As far as Dez is concerned, he is an older version of KB. He might help a little, but not all that much.
  15. The one we draft in the first round in 2019, followed by our next starting C and RG. Move Dawkins to RT and start Teller at LG. We'll have enough cap space for a starter to replace V Davis and a WR or 2.
  16. Trade down and draft SEVERAL offensive linemen. Sign the best speed WR and CB you can get in FA. Teams don't often let good OL walk these days unless they need a QB.
  17. 2 picks and 2 TD's. 200 yards. 20-17 Bolts. Shady will have a good game. The Chargers are weakened up front with Bosa out, but they'll still get a bunch of sacks.
  18. One year into a total rebuild from top to bottom for the entire organization? Sorry, but this is not the time to jump ship and abandon what we all should have understood was needed years earlier. Maybe we can wait and see what they do with all the cap space and a couple more high draft picks before we grab the pitchforks and torches. Geez, I can't believe I'm even having to say this. I've criticized the organization when homers said we'd have a great season. Now I'm having to tell the haters to get real. SMH...
  19. UGH !!! Stop making this about religion. I don't care if the guy is a total nut job. He's a terrible QB. We already have NP to fill that role.
  20. Sadly, people don't understand that we're rebuilding and couldn't fill all the holes in the roster in a single offseason. I agree they didn't have the team ready last Sunday, but if they show any progress before December that would be a positive.
  21. It's called "rebuilding". New team president, GM, entire personnel dept, new coaching staff, roster turnover will be close to 100%. We aren't going anywhere this year. Be patient. This was necessary.
