  1. They got him for what amounts to the number 19 overall pick in the draft. People saying we gave up too much are prone to hyperbole and hot takes and need to take a pill.
  2. Most of these guys have had three to four years to get an idea of who these players are. In addition, they've had the Senior Bowl and the Combine. No reason to postpone the draft.
  3. The Patriots dont have enough cap space to take on his modest salary.
  4. That was sarcasm. I'll forward it to Beane when his way of doing things stops working.
  5. By pointing fingers at the other person for not doing more.
  6. You can't just say we will need to get the people who have survived corona back to work first. Saying that assumes those people all work in the same profession. Who are we talking about? What professions?
  7. I wonder if Field gets paid by the Panthers for hyperbole.
  8. Man the Panthers are quickly becoming Temple South. I bet Panther fans are just up in arms about all the additions from Rhule's past. Time for the organization to move into 2020 and stop living in the past.
  9. He was very good in the post season. However, to call him a major force when the team ranked 26th in defense is a bit laughable. I said it before, and I'll say it again, Clowney is the defensive version of Sammy Watkins. He has phenomenal natural ability, and has two to three great games a year where fans can point to and say "if he was just in the right situation." But they are both lacking that gear that makes phenoms into all time greats.
  10. Thought this way Isaiah McKittrick, Issac's brother. Issac plays for the Rams.
  11. Right now I think mini camps will be cancelled. However, I cant see this going into July and August. Maybe a modified season, but I think football still happens.
  12. He is 100% not worth it you're correct. The issue is dumb teams like the Giants and Lions paid guys like Olivier Vernon and Trey Flowers astronomical contracts to be average to above average players. I don't think he will get 20 million a year, but if I were his agent I wouldnt take anything less than the average of those two contracts multiplied by the difference in salary cap. Given the current salaries he shouldnt settle for anything less than 17.5-18 million a year.
  13. Dareus would have fetched a higher pick if he wasnt being paid like a quarterback.
  14. Over: Bills, Colts, Chargers, Packers, Saints, Seahawks, Cardinals Under: Patriots, Ravens, Eagles, Redskins, Lions, Panthers, 49ers
  15. So many NFL teams get this right, get a good logo and stop messing with it. Its the reason the Steelers, Bears, Packers, Raiders, Colts and Cowboys have great jerseys they leave them be. Gotta stop messing with stuff that isnt broken.
  16. I am not going to argue with someone who thinks Josh Allen is the 29th best quarterback in the league. Anyone who thinks that, legitimately has an agenda against the guy and will never have their mind changed, short of him suddenly being Aaron Rodgers.
  17. His passing yards were 23rd just below the NFL MVP. His touchdowns were 23rd, much higher if you track total touchdowns. He is a 2nd year quarterback who is 15-12 as a starter, and took the team to the playoffs last year. Without his wheels they probably dont get there. On the QBR, which I think is a total farce, if you think Jacoby Brissett, Daniel Jones, Jameis Winston, Kyler Murray, Derek Carr, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Ryan Tannehill are all better QBs than Josh Allen go ahead, but you'd be wrong. If you want to look at stats to justify a Quarterback being good or not fine, but dont forget the player's entire game. Is Josh one of the best passers in the league right now, probably not. However, he is one of the top 15 players at his position, and he is pushing for top 10.
  18. In what category are you referring to? No, and the stat he is quoting is random.
  19. What, no one wants to play a borderline #2 wideout with multiple off the field issues...color me surprised.
  20. Dude has made 75,000 dollars a tackle since being in Buffalo, 177,000 dollars a tackle since he has been in the NFL. He must be a hell of a guy.
  21. Agreed. Their household net worth is around 540 million dollars. 60 Million more doesn't hurt anyone, but with that much money it's not the thing driving life decisions. Also, I cant even begin to fathom 540 million dollars from playing a sport and being pretty.
