The more i think about it, i think we should just let the board fall to us or even trade back, get a couple extra picks and make a splash in the 2nd and 3rd (if we end up getting a 3rd round pick with trades).

Think of him what you will, but the legal system found him innocent. That's not to say the legal system is not broken, however, he was judged by a jury of his peers and was found not guilty......i, however, think he's guilty as hell, but i was not on the jury panel, i only heard what the media expressed for the trial and did not have to make the decision of innocent or guilty. Now, OJ may have been found innocent in the eyes of the law, but he was definitely found guilty in public opinion.

The Pats were well ahead of their time........wait, hear me out. The time of a WR that can run past defenders' full steam downfield is done. It's time has come and passed. It's a by-gone era that will probably never ever come back. Defenses have caught on and are forcing teams to play the middle, which is why a good dink and dunk, slant, crossing route WR's are flourishing and why teams have to scheme accordingly. You're seeing more schemes, more alignments, adjustments, etc......trying to create mismatches at the line. Also, YAC is becoming huge.......get the ball to your WR's hands in the middle and let them make a play. The Pats excelled at all this. Sure, when they had Moss they threw the occasional deep ball, but if you go back and watch, it's the YAC that kills the D, not really the long bomb. They could take "middle of the road" WR's and let them work their magic in the middle and it helped huge that they had a guy like Gronk to create mismatches......same as Kelce and Kittle, etc. I believe our FO is finally seeing the proper way to build our O.....create mismatches, scheme/gameplan, and let your WR's earn their pay with YAC. It used to be a battle of the trenches (which it still is even today), however, it's now been amalgamated into a battle over the middle......whoever controls the trenches AND the middle, controls the game. I have spoken.

Apparently, the Juice is worth the squeeze.

A 3rd?.....did you mean to say a turd?

Package up Milano, Elam, OJ's ashes and some JA Wegman grocery bags and make a big splash in the draft this year. Get er done, Beane.

Ran from defenders on the field.......then ran from the law.......then ran from the creditors, but nobody runs from the reaper. R.I.P. you son of a *****
-
Unfortunately, we're stuck with this boat anchor........nobody's going to want him, and his value is rock bottom. I don't blame Elam, i blame our FO for trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.
-
You see, i didn't know that......taken out of context and it looks like Diggs is giving a big ****you to the fans. Now that you've pointed it out and i see it from both sides, aye carumba, we are the worst.

........classy

I don't know how it's all going to turn out, however, Knox had some angry runs, boy......when he was "on", he was "on"......when he was "off", well......

Who is the best #14 in Bills history?

Bills Coverage Stuff that is Making me Grit my Teeth
Sweats replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's all nonsense and hype from the media. They're saying were significantly worse without Diggs right now, we've thrown in the towel, we've given up, the team is lost without a WR1, etc........wait till the draft rolls around and they are all applauding us for our great picks. If it wasn't so obviously and blatantly click bait, it would be comical. -
......It was the quietest Saturday of my life
-
Wait till draft day. Sit back and enjoy the show.......big things are a-coming.
-
......and don't forget Elam. Everybody, get your torches and pitchforks ready for the riots that are sure to come with this draft

I think the media is over-blowing and hyping our needs way more than what we actually need.

I remember when old Buddy Ryan said that, "all he does is catch TD's" about Chris Carter. Now Buddy, an old D guy, hated when the O scored too fast and didn't give his D enough time to recuperate on the sidelines. Now equate it to what our roster is today...... We are setting up the old "death by a thousand cuts" approach style O. We've got the roster to slice and dice the middle of the field, where we can control the clock, manage the TOP and carve up D's a little at a time, instead of in bunches. Yes, we will find our WR1 to alleviate and open up the entire field for the playbook, but as it sits now and contrary to what the media thinks, our roster is exactly what we need it to be in order to control the middle of the field.....which is the direction opposing D's are starting to make more of a focal point. I have spoken.

New Buscaglia mock has Bills trading up to 7 for Malik Nabers
Sweats replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know what the media has been saying about the top WR's this year and i don't actually disagree with them, however, in my honest opinion, i really only see MHJ and Nabers as the 2 that are NFL-ready and the most polished of skillset coming into a franchise and absolutely starting day 1. Nabers kind of reminds me of a similar JJ type, so i am completely onboard with that. The dude has speed, excellent footwork, his route tree is outstanding, he's not afraid to mix it up and get his hands dirty or fight for extra yards. This is the guy that i want to see play alongside JA. I have spoken. -
Media coverage of Diggs trade before and after
Sweats replied to BarleyNY's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's exactly the same point i was going to make. Diggs in B-lo was a distraction, a big-time diva and a headache for the franchise, has lost a step, is aging, but he goes to Houston and holy ****, he's the king. He's exactly what a team needs to put them over the top. The media flipping both ways, saying that Buffalo doesn't really need this frustration on its hands and yet, they turn around saying what the hell are the Bills doing, they're tanking this year, they've given up, throwing in the towel, etc. If it wasn't so blatantly obvious that the media has no idea what they are talking about or just creating some click-bait, it would almost be comical. -

My god, if the draft fell into place like this, i really couldn't think of a better outcome......i'd be the happiest guy around. -
The league has really seemed to go in the way of the short routes, dink and dunk, take what the D gives you type of O systems......as compared with previous years where long balls were being fired all over the field, all game long. Yes, we absolutely need a WR1 if not to only stretch the field, however, i see a lot of potential with the short routes with Kincaid, Shakir, Cook, etc.....I think this combination can be lethal and it seems a lot of the media are overlooking this recently with the whole Diggs drama. We'll be fine.....i truly believe that.

Well, if Minny and the Bills are any barometer, it's not hard to forecast the future with this man.
