  1. Yep, you cracked the case wide open there.
  2. I don't know, man, but this Reiner death is hitting hard.........i still don't think anything comes even remotely close to what happened to Hackman, but this is rough.
  3. I don't know where you're going with this, but i only mentioned that i didn't see the replay..........maybe McD saw it, but i didn't see it. You may have missed it from another thread, but i was busy shoveling snow off my roof yesterday afternoon and only fall off twice, so i had other priorities going on.
  4. This place is a hot mess after a loss and even worse after a great win. Bills won yesterday..........give yourselves a minute to appreciate it and for Christ's sakes, can we at least put away the torches and pitchforks until a real issue comes up?
  5. From what i've seen on Maye, given enough time in the pocket with zero pressure and he'll make all the throws and make D's look pretty stupid while doing it. Even yesterday when he didn't see any pressure, he was slicing and dicing and carving our D like a 3 week old dried out Christmas turkey. Maye is the type of QB that you have to get right in his face and make him uncomfortable right from the first snap of the game........we didn't do that in the 1st half.
  6. I'd trade those 4 SB appearances for one SB title, honestly.
  7. Superbowl!!!
  8. Honestly, when i was watching the game, the play happened so fast and NE got to the line so quickly that i didn't even see a replay of the catch.........maybe they showed one, but i didn't see one. I know the announcers were saying that NE was doing the right thing by getting the snap off quickly so there would be no challenge and even they seemed to question the catch. I didn't question McD's decision at the time and i don't question it now. No challenge flag was thrown.........deal with it.
  9. Doesn't matter.........he's probably still on dial-up
  10. I don't feel like i built it..........i feel like the guy who's tearing it all down.
  11. Well, the office "bike" is awfully quiet at work this morning after the big Christmas bash a couple of nights ago........sitting at her desk, not looking anyone in the eyes this morning. I mean, i don't know how you recover from some of the things she said and did at the party. She's probably feeling like silence is the best course of action from her shame and regret.
  12. I had to record the game yesterday........i spent the afternoon shoveling 3 feet of snow off the roof and only fell off twice. It was a good day.
  13. I got my yearly raise from the company this week.........4% increase.........last year was 8% The boss made it no big secret 2 weeks ago that he was penny pinching to inflate his yearly bonus UGH
  14. I still remember when Mac and cheese was regarded as the "baby GOAT" and the next Tom Brady. The media just can't help themselves in hyping up NE........it's a sickness. Maye is good, but he's nowhere near JA good. Maybe in a year or so, this conversation will take a sideways turn if Maye turns out to be the real deal, but as of today, JA and Maye shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence. I have spoken.
  15. Let me put my situation into perspective...... my experience in our field..........39 years my bosses experience in our field...........1 year The guy is 30 years old.........i've been doing this longer than he's even been alive. My problem is that he won't listen to anything, thinks he's the smartest one in the room and tries to re-invent the wheel. He believes that everything that comes out of his mouth is just pure genius. I am constantly telling him that not every idea, is a good idea. He's completely oblivious to everything. Disgusting
  16. I'll be in the minority on this, but I'm kind of digging the system we have in place right now..........keep feeding the TE's and play the WR's by committee.
  17. They were dim witted children.........how did we even allow them to come on here?!?
  18. Back in the day, the one company i worked for used to go all out for the Christmas parties..........everything paid, presents and gifts for everyone, etc. We used to call these parties the "marriage enders", where people would be falling down drunk, puking in the corner, fighting in the streets/parking lot, banging spouses (usually someone else's spouse) in the bathrooms, etc. The establishment (a real high-end place) refused to let us have parties there anymore cause it would get too out of control. Ah, good times
  19. I, more than anyone, am pleasantly surprised that he's still got some gas in the tank........i thought he was going to be a dud. Ole Sweats was wrong on this one.
  20. I just had my work Christmas party last night and i honestly hate them every year. I don't particularly like my coworkers and i really despise my boss, so to hang out with them on my time and pretend to enjoy their presence is really not at the top of my list. On a side not - the office "bike", got wayyyyyyyyyyy too drunk, hit on every guy at the party and slammed her purse against my chest (she had her cell phone in it cause that's what cracked my sternum)........and why would she slam her purse against my chest, you might ask? It's because i didn't act on her advances. You see, sometimes ole Sweats can be a decent guy.........my wife was with me at the party, so the timing wouldn't have worked out for me anyhow. Work Christmas parties........love em or hate em.
  21. Honestly, i don't like any of the process
  22. It's a good thing KC's season ended about 29 minutes ago then, isn't it?!?
  23. .........even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes
  24. I turned the game off at halftime, just so totally disgusted......which i usually do for Bills first halves, but then after an hour or so, i go back and see the Bills are putting on a clinic. Wow.....just wow
  25. ..........that's a real shame
