Sorry I don’t get the LB need when we March out a 2 LB nickel dee almost all of the time.. it’s a luxury pick not a pressing need unless you aren’t resigning our MLB. I would be looking for safety help before that or at least a hybrid big nickel safety. Maybe a tweener type like that Safety from Va Tech.

If they don’t have any 1st round grades left yet a bunch of 2nd round grades I may even try to trade back into spots 10+ in round 2 and attempt to snag an extra early 3rd rounder hoping I can get 3 2nd round grades guys this draft. That could make this a very exciting draft of quality for this team.

Call your shot: Who will the Bills pick in the 1st round?
Locomark replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My guess is Rousseau or Harris if we stay put. I prefer Newsome or Phillips but I think both will be gone. I truly believe we are not going after Etienne because we would never Telegraph it that early. We may be moving up but not for him, likely for Newsome , Phillips , Vera Tucker or maybe even Farley. Vera Tucker could even be our 2022 center if he gets to 20. I always mock BPA in our need spots which usually it is Newsome, Samuel, Rousseau, Phillips, Oweh, Harris, and on random draws we get lucky with a Vera Tucker or a Jenkins falling. It will be fun waiting to see 1) what the Pats do 2)who the Niners pick and 3) if we trade up or trade back... -
I still thinks the Pats are moving up to draft someone and they will be players for the Top ten picks.. they signed security blanket TEs because they want a rookie IMO... I think Jimmy G is too high a cost for his production and they know it. He is their plan B and then are just smoke screening the Niners into thinking they need him. I project Jimmy G ends up a Bear this year or next year.

Bills sign G Forrest Lamp
Locomark replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Looks like: 1) Cody and Feliciano just got put on notice that they aren’t that slam dunk secure 2) we aren’t so sure we need to draft a Guard this year in any of the first 3 rounds 3) maybe Beane is going all in on CB,DE, Nickel or RB in the early rounds so he keeps stocking the OL cupboard... 4) someone is getting traded after Camp -

I went with a friend and our girlfriends to the Bills Cleveland playoff game in the late 80s. That was the game where we lost thanks to a Ronnie Harmon last second TD drop but learned what it took and then went into all those SB years kind of like this year’s prep SB run. The crazy part was this. Those were pre-electronic ticket days so we had to drive to Olean to get the tickets the day before and then pick up my friends girlfriend in Ithaca and then drive at 4am to Cleveland. What we later found out is we were the only 4 people dressed in white and blue in the dog pound. My buddy and I literally had to punch our way through the bathroom to take a piss, it was that hostile. It was a great game though. Only game I have ever been at where both QBs threw for over 400 yards. It was also the game where Beebe bounced straight up and down off the turf on his head like a pogo stick and 85,000 people went silent quiet because they thought he was dead. He somehow walked off. As an aside.. I haven’t lived in the area for decades now but have always found ways to see the games at backer bars or with friends or coming back. Even when in Hawaii. Amazing how many Bills people you can find in different states. I even lived in dreaded Pats territory for a bit but thank god it was Pre Brady so the Flutie lovers liked the Bills back then. -
Eventually it will be 18 games and you will have players on a play count. Fans and fantasy people will be complaining when coaches start pulling players regularly in games when your team has a comfortable lead.

Which QB do you want the Jets to draft?
Locomark replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope they draft Fields. It would be a cluster and would continue their road to suckitude.. -
Any thoughts on WR Dyami Brown, UNC?
Locomark replied to 2020 Our Year For Sure's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Does any WR drafted have any shot at making this team this year other than a practice squad slot? If the answer is no aren’t they just better going UDFA? -
Bills opening stadium discussions with NYS and Erie County
Locomark replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is the key point. You end up sinking 500 mil into Renos every 5 years and instead of a new stadium you will have spent the same cost in 10 years and gotten the same old stadium with pretty new signage and bigger concourses. Just stupid. Rebuild it already. -

With that theory you should play in a Texas high school stadium for $100, (of which some are as nice as what we have today.) Seriously they aren’t going to build a stadium that outprices the area. You don’t live in NYC or Chicago or San Fran so making that seat license season ticket comparative is unnecessary. There should be a stadium that is indoors like in Detroit so it has so many more uses and therefore you can actually grow more revenue from it. Detroit’s average ticket price is $15 more than the Bills and Arizona’s is $10, both still well under the league average. Think outside the Box. The current stadium is very limiting to other uses. You can have a nice stadium and not explode ticket prices! https://www.statista.com/statistics/193595/average-ticket-price-in-the-nfl-by-team/ Also interesting but Jerry Jones big butt expensive stadium has under league average prices !! So maybe the answer to to go back to higher capacity like it used to be. If it seats 79K like it used to you can charge less because you make a ton more on concessions and parking. An indoor stadium with that capacity would be friggin loud. -

How many times can you keep pouring money into a 50 year old stadium? I love the old place, but seriously it’s time. Taxes are going to keep going up regardless because you live in NY state so kicking the can down the road 10 more years is dumb. Just build the new stadium already. The longer you wait, the more the price tag goes up. -
Of course we are still looking at interior DL, we have Star at $10mil on the wrong side of 30 and a very mediocre Harry who is not starting quality with bum knees and who is a free agent soon. I highly doubt last year’s feel good story from the practice squad is the ‘22 starter plan at interior line.

With a decent owner it would be zero percent because they would either keep him or get him in the NFC. However, the Texans do the worlds worst things, so it’s probably 50%.

Do the Bills have "their guy" picked out?
Locomark replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, he’s an under the radar CB/ big Nickel / Gadget WR / Speed RB / left footed punter combo from Western Idaho State... Katcha Kold 6’4 184 Lanky Merton Hanks meets Gayle Sayers type who just isn’t getting noticed because of his small school and his transfer after 2 years from Junior College.. in all seriousness I think they have a group of guys they will take and think they will trade back as many as 3-7 spots and still get one of them so they can land an extra pick. -
Jaran Reed replacement for Star?
Locomark replied to BeastMode54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like Reed but Star isn’t going anywhere this year. I think you might be surprised and he may even stay next year. I think Harry is gone next year and he may be gone this year depending on who they draft. -
3rd easiest schedule next year according to Mike Clay
Locomark replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last year we had a “hard” schedule and went 13-3 with a real 14-2 and a fluke Hail Mary Mary. So previous years record is not indicative or next years performance. I agree you look at the QB and the location of the game. I still think we stand to be no worse than 12-4 next year depending on what happens with the Pats and Phins QB situations over the next few months. If they get one maybe we could go as low as 11-5. -
Ryan Bates has eye on starting role [paywall]
Locomark replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sorry Bates but we are drafting a guard this year..... -
The Niners saying they want to start Jimmy this year means they want at least a first and another pick to move him. They know the Pats need him. They aren’t handing him over for a prayer. The Pats have no leverage and the Niners know they covet him. The Niners are in win now mode so they will play him if they don’t get the value they seek. I would ask 2 firsts just because it’s the Pats.

Well at least Sammy will be injured when the Ravens are in the playoffs ...

The Lesson in the Sabres Horrendous Season
Locomark replied to IronyAbounds's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So even with Jack playing , were they winning ? Was Jack producing outside of the power play? Did he look like someone that would lead a future core or possibly be the guy that could help us overcome obstacles? Asking for a friend. ... I am done being a Sabres apologist. If you want to be a homer it means you are ok with another 5 years of not making the playoffs. I am not. They literally have to blow it all up and that not only means front office but it may mean Jack too. They won’t competitive next year and maybe not the year after, so at that point Jack will obviously want out and then his trade value will suck. Might want to do the blockbuster deal this summer while there is higher value and you can maybe package him with Skinner and clear the decks of $.. just saying we are in a much more desperate situation when you look at the reality of it. Jack isn’t likely going to be here in the next few years. If he stays he won’t be playing happy. -

Production matters. If you pays big $ and you finish with the least wins we ever had you are the worst team we ever assembled. We arent trying to tank so that makes it worse IMO.
