  1. Bold prediction is one of our top 2 RBs and one of our top 5 secondary guys miss significant time and we need to enter the season without them.
  2. I wonder if they will rank Covid potential and then have players miss time to it in the game..LOL
  3. Jack Eichel for anyone over the legal drinking age is sadly all I want now. We suck.
  4. Well I learned something today. The NFL is wildly sadder than society as a whole.
  5. Wait wasn’t our DT arrested last year for possession of a firearm? How soon we forget…. Remember it all was thrown out of court, so who knows if this sticks. Although anything bad that happens to the Chiefs is Ok with me.
  6. Why does this make the board? Is it a big deal these days? This isn’t 1984. I am sure a few of the Bills players past and present are as well.
  7. Obada. I think he suddenly becomes a force in the rotation and before you know it, he and Basham are the guys making a difference this year and even Jerry sees reduced snaps.
  8. I said this last year also. If he doesn’t have a big year this year, then the big question is why. He has the talent and now he had the big man back and a plethera of ends to mix in a pass rush. There are no excuses this year.
  9. Actually I heard the reason the cost of SoFi was so much greater than other stadiums was the fact it had to be engineered 100 feet into the ground to avoid the LAX flight pattern. If that is true, they won’t be digging it in because they will be trying to save costs. Let’s just hope this isn’t some bargain basement stadium like the hockey rink was. Do it right so it lasts for a long time and isn’t a joke in a decade.
  10. Thurman Thomas told me if you can’t find your helmet to just do this….
  11. I expect Oliver to have a big year. I expect Knox to silence critics and improve and be more of a red zone threat but still have some drops. I expect Ford to fall out of the lineup and get traded. I can’t quite figure out our RB room. Based on last year, Devin should be a backup to Moss. Let’s see if his off-season determination lit a fire under his butt and his game picks up. Personally I don’t think he is very good as a receiver either.
  12. There is a pro and a con to that… Con: If he goes 10-1 and beats KC wouldn’t he command even more during that mid year deal? Yes.. Pro: If he takes a step back this year and we go 7-4, maybe we sign him for less.. It’s all about what you think is more likely to occur. I personally think he may light it up this year as our defense will be better, so he will get more possessions. If that happens his price tag will go up if we wait 10-12 games.
  13. I understand up to 2% of your WNY current sales taxes funds NYC subways so maybe 1% could come back to fund a stadium? Let NYC create a tourism tax to cover the shortfall. Jake, This may be less taxpayer money than you think. It could be as low as 15-25% of the total cost. Actually keeping it in OP keeps costs down because you already have a ready footprint there and the practice fields, Adpro, and some of the parking can all stay intact. Some of the cost will come from deferred state revenue like slices of future stadium property taxation, rent, parking / ticket %, etc. It’s not just as simple as a taxpayer increase. Pegula is the 8th richest owner in the league. He is working with Jerry’s firm. He’s another energy guy who can easily partner with him and help him gain some private funding or even help pressure the league and state to do more. They said they were studying the Steelers model where they didn’t have PSLs, so they aren’t going to treat Buffalo like a big city market when it comes to pricing. It’s will be over 50 years with this stadium, just enjoy its very overdue replacement!
  14. I’ll go next… Harrison Phillips’ Hamster…
  15. The NFLPA has to represent all players and that means being on the cautious side of health issues. The consequences of asking the NFLPA to being less cautious on player physical and mental health was seen for many decades and no player should want them to go backward! All employers have the right, it not obligation, to protect their employees. Use the smoker analogy. You can’t smoke in the workplace, so smokers have to go outside. So this Is no different. You can go film the smokers outside the workplace and see which employees smoke and therefore even know who had higher insurance premiums due to it right? So why is this different? You have the right to opt out of a vaccine, but then your employer has the right to hold you to tighter restrictions to protect the other employees around you. The other players don’t have to be held to your standards to protect your anonymity. That’s your choice, you should be able to defend it publicly. You are a public figure who gets questions about every little aspect of your life so this is part of that job unfortunately. I defend Cole and others like him in their right to speak up. However they have no right to determine their employer’s health policies. If they don’t like it they can find a different line of work.
  16. I was at this game at age 14. It wasn’t my first game, but is was the first time I was at a game that was super loud. I remember the TV timeout at the 2 minute warning after we had just picked them off and had the game in hand and the crowd was like the Super Bowl playoff years. I already hated the Phins and this was the game that the posts got ripped down. We were on the Phins side upper deck and one of post uprights actually made it up to us and some morons had to be stopped from throwing it off the deck onto people below… it was nuts!!
  17. I am not worried about full stadiums, since people who it concerns just likely won’t go or can wear a mask. I worry more about a half vaccinated team where’s some players could conceptually cause key teammates to miss games that could cost us a few wins and our shot at a Super Bowl. Imagine if Josh gets it and we have to have Mitch for 3 games. We could even lose to the Jets!! Something that could actually be avoided.
  18. 7 years 290 million. 225 guaranteed. I think they have a few big $ in years 3-5 so we aren’t royally handcuffed at the end.
  19. I want Frank Reich’s jersey from the comeback game.
  20. The #1 thing is to design the stadium to be a loud echo chamber like they did in Seattle. Our main advantage IS NOT our weather. IT IS OUR CROWD!! One requirement needs be to get our acoustics to a huge decibel level!!
  21. 1. Allen 2. White 3. Diggs 4. Edmunds 5. Dawkins 6. Feliciano (because I think Morse gets his last and final concussion this year) 7. Milano 8. Star 9. Poyer 10. Basham
  22. I really want the Chargers to succeed. Always liked the team even though their fan base stinks. It goes back to the Coryell days and even with Rivers they were entertaining. With the new QB they should be a good team for years. As far as players I always really liked McCaffrey, Lamar, Kittle, Larry Fitzgerald, Aaron Donald , Grady Jarrett as players to root for not on the Bills. I don’t really have anyone I can root for in division but if there was someone in division I would want on my team today it would be Gesecki.
  23. Is this a joke? If he was slow years ago why would he be feasible now? He should be playing in one of those spring leagues...
  24. Dear Bills front office travel staff... you know Ohare does have connecting flights that are big planes to Buffalo a few times a day.. maybe next staff can spend more than 5 minutes and make sure your guys get on an a300 so they they don’t have to spread out in the plane to keep it from crashing LOL...
  25. But we get the Pats on a long week after Turkey Day and Miami after a bye, but I don’t see your complaint there... and that means a ton more to us!
