Mahomes had a very clean pocket all game and easy vision... that’s recipe for a big game. We have one of the leagues biggest payroll expense for dline yet it is our weakness. Pass rush is a major flaw of this team right now and blitzing is our cover-up for it.

This is our biggest challenge right now.... that we don’t have a front 4 game wrecker that creates so much havoc that every team must double team him on every play. You can win it all without one but it’s way easier with one ! Can Bruce sign a 3 week contract ?

Agreed..they already gave away half the team, so there is no way they are trading a franchise QB who was just named All Pro.they would only do that for the #1 pick in the draft and a few other top picks because they know what they have.

I think the scheme stinks. Lamar was a pocket passer in Louisville. Roman has him running a college veer offense. Blame Roman and the GM for always drafting RBs and not WRs. They are like the Bills a few years ago. Thinking you can win forever by playing an older style of football. I don’t know if Lamar can be that guy, but the style of offense they have will never tell us. He is not being asked to be a passer so who knows how good he will be at it. Meanwhile they are wasting some of his best years while they figure it out because his wheels won’t last forever.

McD elevated this year over last. Last year he was overly conservative. This year he allowed us to be more aggressive on offense. I won’t call him elite until we see what happens when he has to make tough decisions in the next 2 games. YES I SAID 2 GAMES.

Every team left has playmakers on defense. It comes down to big play defense AND special teams - sacks, turnovers, returns. Don’t forget KC got plenty of those plays last year....

Exactly. I thought McKenzie should have played slot the whole game. Beasley is not as productive with the bum knee and it is hurting the offense. He should have sat yesterday if he couldn’t run. Now he will be shot for next week as well. He is a start stop player and that doesn’t work if he can’t pivot quickly. Also, McKenzie needs to be used on more jet sweeps and to stretch the seems.

Half of me wants the Browns because of the obvious home game advantage but the real competitor in me wants KC. I want to prove we are the best team. I want Mahomes. I don’t like his smug arrogance and I want us to win it in their stadium in front of the whole country.

Both played well. We need to face it. Murphy played decent in last years playoff game and last night. We need to dress him again next week. He is fresh and right now we need fresh guys that are responsible in maintaining lane discipline. 57 seems lost and we can’t risk a key play while he develops. Harry had one his best games of the year yesterday. Maybe he is finally feeling healthier or maybe he is just gaining confidence but it’s coming at the right time.

Nervous all week but super calm tonight now. WE ARE THE BETTER TEAM. 26-11. Time to show the world we are serious about winning the super bowl.

But the team has 3 really good QBs in their division.. they need to push him out or they might end up with a throw away year. No team wants that. Time to tank.

The Ravens are less balanced on offense than Indy. You have to basically stack the middle of the field and tighten on their TEs. They have a strong defense but their back is beatable when you get time to throw. The key is Josh’s improv and getting some screens and slot plays. I expect some of those quick Brown WR screens and McKenzie runs this weeks and lots of speed plays to cut down their pass rush. I truly think we kept some bland play book this week due to field position and because we expected multiple playoff games.

Sorry but he doesn’t have it anymore. It would be even worse for him to come back and have a 6-10 season and finish in last place....

Last years Ravens All pro corner Humphreys is this years 2nd most targeted cb in the league. They mentioned it during the game today. Their defense, when it doesn’t get to the QB constantly, is suspect on the back end. It is not what is was last year. Mobility affects them. Expect some big plays from us from the spread. They match up well against the teams like the Titans and Steelers who don’t threaten with multiple passing threats. We do. We also have team speed on defense which helps against Lamar.

Only teams that are “scared” or have less talent pray for specific teams. Let’s just take who we get, let our superior talent win the game and move on to the next game. WE ARE A BETTER TEAM THAN THE RAVENS. Play our game, play with confidence. Josh > Lamar in the air so put points up and force him to match it!

Bring on the Ravens... our big focus is NOT Lamar. It’s shutting down TEs. If they don’t run, they throw to TEs. We suck at covering them. Let’s see what our strategy becomes to deal with this. Maybe it’s just putting up 30 and letting the chips fall where they may.

The Ravens and Bills will be a “Pick Em” game by game time... too very different teams and both teams have strengths where the other has weaknesses. Bills need to win the field position game which truly kept their play calling in check this past week. Long fields will kill the Ravens. I think we will be very motivated to avenge last years game.
