Right but the guy is ignoring positional importance. 4 Rbs, a guard as his top player and splitting hairs on Darnold not including him in the first rd is idiotic and just click bait. If Darnold becomes an average starting Qb he is more important to a teams success than the gaurd even if he is a perennial all pro for 10 years.

12, 22, 53, 65 and 2019 1st and swap of mid rd picks get it done for NYG. If the Giants want to trade out they will do it for 3 1st a 2nd and 3rd. That is the most they will receive. That is not a Ditka for Ricky Williams move. Buffalo would have 2, 56, 96 so a Qb than a second and third. The only variable is NYG willingness to trade. By moving JPP they seem to be rebuilding so a move down for would seem realistic. To me the only reason they have been collecting these picks was to use them to select a Qb that would have been otherwise out of reach. If Buffalo does not land 1 of the top 5 Qbs many including me would rate the draft a disappointment and would officially start the clock on Beane and Mcdermotts careers in Buffalo.

This is the worst part of "Scout speak". Round grades mean nothing. There is not value at picking a QB 3 or 56. If they become a franchise caliber starter in the NFL they are worth the 1st pick. Value means nothing if you like the player and they produce and are effective in the NFL they are worth the pick or possibly higher. Matt Malano would have been perceived as a reach if he was drafted in the 3rd though his play this past year would have justified it.

You are right. I think the thing with Allen that makes teams optimistic is that he is not some well oiled Qb. He is not an elite 11 Qb prospect that has gone to every QB camp since he was 12. Allen appears to be a natural talent. Working with Palmer he is learning and being taught how to make different throws, and why your feet is tied to accuracy. This in the end is all about ego and potential. The ego is that of the coaches. The potential is simply, watch Allen's best 50 throws. Those are by far the best in the class. A coach will have his staff get Allen to do that all the time. None of the Qbs are slam dunks most evaluators are going to give the coaches the guy with the most ability, it the coaches job to get that out of him.

When can we expect THE trade to happen ?

Draft night. If Cleveland announces their pick before hand I could see something happen before the giants are on the clock. The cost of moving up Buffalo will have it that this is their guy. -
The double trade could happen. I expect it would happen at the same time. Imo how highly do they think of Jackson. They could stay close to 12 flop a third move up slightly and keep most of the picks.. maybe Rosen slides. If that happens imo Buffalo would be a player. Too many ways it can play out still. Cleveland than NYG sets the scene for how it goes. Buffalo could move up anywhere. Will be the most exciting draft in awhile.

Josh Rosen snaps back on Mora comments

Mora is the last person anyone wants to hear about selfentitledment. Mr if my last name wasnt Mora I wouldnt have gotten a job. -
There is not way of knowing if Gettleman would take a QB at 2. I believe Gettleman is just drumming up the price for 2. They will want a ransom or they will take Darnold. They hold all the cards here. Until the Giants are on the clock the price wont reach its largest figure. The next guess is who does the Giants value positional wise? Chubb, Nelson? Maybe Buffalo trades up for either of those guys and trade the players once they know you have their guy. There is many outcomes but i do not expect them to playout until they are on the clock and there is no doubt who is available. PR wise Beane is going to wait for the draft to trade so they can say we moved up for x player and x player only.

The browns missed out on Wentz and they are going to draft Allen because of his potential. Not a big surprise here. Curious to see what Buffalo does and who they value most.
-
So does NYG and Buffalo both want Darnold? Is Gettleman just playing the game to get Beane to pay a lot for him. If Darnold is on the board at 2 I could see Buffalo making an offer Gettleman could not refuse. Darnold would come in and most likely beat out Mcarron and I think he will do great things for the franchise.

Who is the last qb that was good who wore a head band?

Let the record I'm against trade into top 6 due to price

Each is entitled to their own opinion. If Buffalo stays at 12 and they miss out on the top 5 Qbs I will lose a lot of the early favor Beane has brought with him. Buffalo has not had a Franchise qb at minimum since Bledsoe. He was already on the down side of his career. The last Qb drafted and was a franchise Qb was taken over 30 years ago. in modern day football Buffalo has never draft a QB within the first 10 picks. That correlates to why Buffalo has had 1 franchise Qb. I dont really care it its 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 go get the guy you have faith in and get the franchsie going towards a contender not a middling team looking to back into a wildcard spot. -
When I watch Allen's games I do not see an erratic thrower of the football. He makes a handful of NFL level throws every game and puts them on the money. Throws the other prospect have not and some can not make. He is a once a generation talent. He is not a finish product. He also seems to have improved the areas in his footwork that at times made him throw inaccurate when he was not in balance. Same can be said about footwork with every prospect not named Rosen. Imo Beane will see a Newton caliber of athlete and potential. If Allen does not go 1 that is the guy they will move up for. There is a chance Rosen or Mayfeild will be there at 4 and would come at a fraction of the price of 2. When you are forgoing multiple prospects for a QB if they have all the tools and are the type of prospect that come around once every 7 years years interns of ability and potential I think that is the type of prospect to take that chance with.

The more I think about the more likley I believe Allen would be the guy Beane and co would go all in for. Rare size and ability. A type of Qb who wont be in a draft for 10 years. Hes the guy they go for imo.
