Since I remember watching football there have always been bad calls. With referee controlled replay they now seem to interpret rules in ways that have never been called in real time. Very simple way to speed up the game. Give both coaches 3 challenges. No more officiating control even under 2 mins. Put in on the coaches. If they don't challenge the play it stands. It removes imo the over analysis of the every td or turnover. If you cant tell its not the right call after seeing 30 sec of replay its not obvious. It slows the game and effects momentum. Does NE challenge the Jesse James TD? I doubt it.

Gronk is really the difference maker for the team and offense. You cant stop Gronk in Cover 2 man or zone. He toasts the Lb everytime. So you have to play cover 3 and that opens up all the outside the number passes.

I do not get all he Jeff Fisher hate. Fir Cleveland they need a calming influence on the franchise. They have a good defense with young talent and decent special teams. He will make that team competitive. I think 7-9 for a a few years is better than 1-15 or 0-16. The amount of talent that cleveland will bring in this offseason they need a guy that will demand a level of professionalism. He brings with a smart OC they will be fine.

If Taylor leads us to into the playoffs I believe you pick up his options but still draft a Qb early. If he is better than Taylor you trade Taylor or you play Taylor until the rookie is ready to lead the team.

A team already with a Qb will like the Idea of 2 first rd picks this year plus whatever else they get from us. Buffalo has ammunition to move up anywhere in the draft. I don't expect Cleveland to trade out again. But you never know if the top guys refuse to play there.

To succeed at anything consistently there are usually outlines you need to always follow to get the same or similar results. Thing dont just happen. Buffalo has proven you cant just draft talent and expect a playoff spot, like you can spend a bunch of money in FA and expect to make the playoffs. They parlayed 2 of the more talented guys on the roster for picks and more team friendly players. Daures' contract was a mistake and they desperately needed to get out from under it. So here we are week 16 Buffalo most certainly has to be eliminated from the playoffs already. There best players from previous years are either in LA or NE. Buffalo went from too old and no future Qb to having the best draft capital the team has had in decades. The most important part Buffalo is still holding on to the 6th seed in the playoffs. and are 8-6 for the first time since 1999 the last time Buffalo has made the playoffs. Of all the talk about the future and win now, Buffalo has a bright future with the cap space and picks . While they are also in the best playoff position in years. Well Geoff could not get on the field for the majority of of his rookie year and when he did was pretty poor. He seemed to rebound quite well. Cant read too much into year 1. Especially when he had no one to throw to outside.

Before anything else they need a Qb. You can find a starter at every level of the defense and offense in Fa.

You are right. Taking a Qb because you have to leaves you with EJ, That draft was ultra thin at Qb. The first place they will need to look is in Fa and Vetran Qbs. There will be a handful available. I think you find an improvement over Taylor first. if that doesn't happen you keep Tyrod to limit a desperation pick. After free agency but starting at the combine you try to gauge interest in the top 2 spots. Picks player nothing is off the table if Both Darnold and Rosen come out. In there own right they are very talented and both high level Qb prospect. Then from there work your way down the board if you have high marks on the remaining 3 Allen, Jackson, or Mayfield. For me personally the first conversation I have at the end of the year is with the Colts. They will have a desirable pick but also have a Qb that who appears to be some doubts with and a player who has moved more and more away from the organization. I believe he has refused treatment with Indy after being placed on Ir and has been getting treatment in Europe on his shoulder. That would be the guy I would go after. Healthy, he is one of the top 5 Qb in the league and has succeeded without alot of weapons or a run game in the league. Still young for a Qb. Probably can give up less for than a complete trade up with Indy.

The exact reason why Mcermott didn't pick up his option and oked the the trade. Buffalo needs a tremendous amount of character and leadership to turn around the 17 year old fiasco. On a winning team Watkins would be little to no problem. for a franchise trying to climb out of the gutter Watkins is a monkey on your back.

Its the first option that is available. Cousins and a qb they value above Taylor. At the combine i would have alot of discussions with Indy. For the possibility of making a draft day trade with them and also the trade availability of Andrew Luck. A trade up will be required to get the top guys. Idk if I would be comfortable with Mayfield. He is not the athlete that Wilson or Brees were. Those are the only shorter guys with alot of success. Allen is going to be the most scrutinized prospect and teams will either love or hate him. His size arm and athleticism will guarantee a team in the top 10 will fall in love with him.

I realistically do not see Taylor being cut. On the open market you can not find Taylor production for the money. If a better Qb is brought in Fa or is selected in round 1 I believe Buffalo would be able to find a trade partner for Taylor.

A good portion of the Vetran leadership will be gone imo. I would guess have of them are gone.

I dont believe Allen makes is out of the top 10. His athleticism, size and arm are off the charts. Prospects with that combination do not fall in the draft. I dont think you can bring in Cousins and trade up for a Qb the same year. To get Allen Buffalo will need to leap in front of the Broncos, and Jets at minimum.

Im ok with Bradford if Buffalo takes Allen or Jackson. If its Bradford over a first rd qb there would be no interest from me.

Does Cousins make Buffalo a Superbowl contender? You are paying him like he does. i think he makes us better but I wouldnt feel comfortable paying him as the highest paid player in the league. I like the talent in this draft and would rather have any of the following Rosen, Darnaold, Jackson or Allen before Cousins.
