  1. With the resources and money I hope Buffalo does something. They are 3rd in the AFC. The defense in January will keep them in any game. Imo adding some extra juice to the roster could be the difference in advancing in the playoffs. Move into the small group of teams with actual Superbowl hopes. Whether they deem that guy to be Gordon, Diggs whoever, maybe a defender, they put themselves in position make the most of it. Whoever, they bring they have the cap space and assets to please the player and team.
  2. They have the money. Short term deal. Gore a primary backup role. Gordon and Singletary in a Ingram and Kamara type split. It doesnt make the team worse. They got 80 mil plus next year still almost 15 mil this year. Use 36 of the 95 for a top 10 back? Yeah.
  3. You would have 2 seasons of control. You trade for him and give him a 3 year deal all paid this year and next and hes happy.
  4. I like Williams' edge he plays with. He brings a different element to the passing attack. I thought Jones was primed for a big year. Maybe, Williams makes the most of his playing time and produces the way I thought Jones would. Seems like Foster has battled injuries all year. Him healthy adds some extra juice to the passing attack as well.
  5. This. Keep Singletary to 10 to 15 touches. Gordon between the tackles. Because Buffalo has player X doesnt mean a player cant be brought in that's better.
  6. Imo, Allen is completely under rated. I know PFF wants to make Bill's fans seem delusional for saying this. Allen is being taught the position. They are giving him field reads, I dont see alot of scripted 1 read throws this year. Through 15 games hes got more wins then losses. 4 comeback wins, 5 game winning drives.
  7. I disagree. Singletary showed this as well. The runs Gore gets10-15 Gordon gets you 20-30. The Oline is responsible for the rushing yards with Gore. Gore at this point will get the yards that are there, but not much more. In an attempt to compete with KC and NE, I would like to see Buffalo make a move like this. Gordon upgrades the rushing attack and underneath passing attack.
  8. Zay is a west coast wr. Imo he will do well in Oak. Carr has one of the lowest air yards. Zay does his best work over the middle/intermediate. Regardless, no matter what happens in Oak the fit isnt there with Buffalo. When he was drafted Buffalo was running a West Coast offense so his skill set matched the offense. Having a big body wr like Williams is a nice change up. The Whaley term, when hes covered hes open.
  9. In my opinion they can be. The offense is moving the ball, but shooting themselves in the foot with untimely penalties and mistakes from Allen. The defense is stingy, yet not making game breaking plays yet. I think KC has peaked like every Andy Reid team. Brady is not the same guy. That oline is poor. Buffalo can find a groove offensively the second half of the year and the defense can score some points, they can beat anyone.
  10. He still hasnt played a complete season yet. Taking things off his plate or going to a run heavy style cripples his development. Give him control of the offense, take some lumps and mistakes and learn from it. It's the start of October. Buffalo is 4-1 and far from reaching their potential or peaking. Get Allen reps and see if he can find a grove. He does that look out.
  11. I like it. Imo Diggs has more left. Green is boom or bust.
  12. I would like to see Buffalo double down on this year. Buffalo will be in the playoffs. Can they get past NE or KC? With the defense they might. Get an impact player. Whether its offense or defense I dont care. Buffalo is a player or 2 away from being a contender.
  13. Makes sense. Williams is a bigger body for the dirty work and contested catches. McKenzie, and Fosters speed needs to be on the field. I thought with the Wr around him, Zay would have a big year. That was not the case.
  14. I guess your right.
  15. Empty yards. Those long kicks resulted in touchbacks and were fairly poor net kicks. Needs to put the ball in play more or out of bounds. His directional kicking is poor.
  16. Phillips maybe? Other than that no. I think Buffalo should explore ways to improve the roster. See if they can flip an unproductive player for some resources and look at the costs of adding a player or 2 to the roster who are semi available.
  17. You dont understand why it's done that way. It's a shovel pass. If it is dropped it's an incomplete pass.
  18. I'm not against it. Get good football players. More the better. Coaches are responsible for assimilating the players into the locker room. Simple, the guy wants to feel wanted. Whether its him or any other player available. If its usage or money those are why good football players become available.
  19. Realistically, you draft or possibly trade for a "star". FA you overpay. Signing guys to prove it, team friendly deals is the best FA method. I think Buffalo has really good depth. Imo they are lacking 1 or 2 impact players. This week I would consider making a move if I can add an impact player. In the draft there is a difference from top 10 quality to top 20 plus. The odds of landing an impact player is less. I would go as far as offering a #1 for an impact player.
  20. Yes, the remaining schedule is laying out perfectly. There is no reason why Buffalo cant win 10 plus games. If they can beat NE they have an outside shot at the Division. I would trade for an impact player on offense or defense.
  21. If he can make contested catches down the field he could find a place on the offense. The other things are a most. Teams, blocking, but adding a poor man Alshon Jeffery deep threat may help Allen stretch the field. Being able to underthrow it and having a guy go get it could be a big difference.
  22. Allen clearing protocol is big. All he needs to do is, if he rolls right and no one flashes open throw it away immediately. Running down the field and not getting out of bounds, slide. That's it. Bill's 28-13.
  23. Pretty obvious. No differant than how Brady has beat us the last 4 games or so. With the defense there is no reason to play as risky as Allen has. Really, if he removes the late roll right and throw it in a crowd his interceptions are cut in half. The other ones are the price of doing business and taking aggressive shot down the feild.
  24. Similar to Allen on offense. Edmunds has been in position multiple times to make a big play. To take the next step as a defense they need to score points.
  25. Seems likely to me that he gets cleared by Sunday. Going forward Allen tweaks his style of play. Every play is not the final play of the season. Live to play another down.
