  1. I understand the teams like it. In terms of the prospects they can be over barring. Years past, every year there are fringe first day, fringe second day and third day prospect who get hurt in a workout. Some go undrafted, some fall multiple rounds just from the injury and ability to be ready for training camp. Unless they didnt compete at the combine or pro day I dont see any purpose for it. Meet with the kid, vet him, watch film. His measureables line up? Move along. Multiple workouts a weeks without proper recovery is pointless.
  2. The limited access makes the draft very compelling. This offseason really puts in question the whole pre draft process for the athletes. Are the individual workouts nessesary?
  3. The world as we know it isnt shutting down for 6 months. At some point life is continuing. The NFL may have to get a special agreement for training camp this year. Football not long ago was a 6 month job. Training camp will be closer to what it was in the 90s but the NFL season will start. If it doesnt than there was a mass collapse of the country and society.
  4. Correct. Rd 2 you take a play maker. I would include Swift as well. If they are gone you draft a chain mover in rd 3 or 4. I think Buffalo has a legitimate shot at Dobbins, Taylor, or Swift at 54.
  5. I could see no Rbs going rd 1. Then look at who needs a back? Come pick 54 Buffalo could have their pick of the group or at least top group
  6. I think day 2 they 100% draft a Rb.
  7. As said above, rd 2 or 3 you can pick whatever style of back you want.
  8. Quality depth. He was seen last offseason as a massive upgrade at RT. Now this offseadon he is fighting for a roster spot?
  9. I wouldnt be so sure. He was brought back for peanuts. The Redzone threats are also the guys that cant sepetate usually. Finding guys who get open in college is more important than 50/50 contested catch pertcentage. Arcega-Whiteside was legendary at 50/50 catches in college and was relativley useless last year for Philly.
  10. If we are looking at mid rd guys I would be more interested in Bowden from Kentucky, or Jefferson from UF. A gadget guy day 3 could really help the offense. I also be willing to take a guy coming off injury. In the redzone I like Diggs, Beasley, or Browns chances at getting open vs a tall guy trying to bring in 50/50 ball. In the modern game 50/50 fade routes are low %.
  11. Ya him an Matos dont look like first rd Des to me. Kinda like Lawson here. You pick a guy in Rd 1 at De you expect sacks, hurries, and big plays. Being a solid, not flashy De on day 2 makes more sense.
  12. Alot of teams have more pressing needs than Wr. Mims is a solid prospect and somewhere in rd 2 he makes alot of sense. In terms of quality of player I see no difference in 22 or 54. I think Mims could have been in play at 22 honestly.
  13. I dont see the value there at 54. A De selection at that point you are picking a position not the beat player. Maybe one of the 2 Big 10 Des fall. Yetur-Matos or Espinosa?? Most likley they are gone. At 54 you are in a prime position for offensive skill players imo.
  14. I dont see an edge at 54 making much of an impact or seeing much playing time. This year seems short on quick twitch ends.
  15. So when you borrow a stadium you get to borrow their color scheme too?
  16. For what he is and what he costs I think it makes sense. Until someone better comes along no issue with keeping him.
  17. With him getting cut I assume the Panthers are still on the hook for future money. Cam proves he can still play and can cash in next year. Its a possible marriage thats all.
  18. This is what Ive been thinking. Its either Cam or tank.
  19. Who knows where they go. They spent a high pick on Campbell last year. I dont think you bring in Rivers and go young all around him.
  20. Makes sense. Either pulling a Clowney esche signing or extending White.
  21. Right thats a future, its also easily replaced if buffalo trades down at any point day 2 or start of day 3.
  22. The draft picks Buffalo gave up equates to a draft day trade up from 22 to 18. For a pressumed #1 that filled a massive void on the roster is a complete no brainer. The picks sound like alot but in reality the 5th and 6th picks are throw ins. Im not sure the NFL talking heads are even aware how those picks were accumulated. If NE was in on Diggs using their pick in the package is 3d chess and histerical. Beane turned 2 lineman who where not making the team last fall into pieces used to secure a # 1 wr. I think if the media told the whole story Buffalo comes out ahead. The only real question was 22 too much? Will that player be the caliber of Diggs? Its debatable. With Brady gone the division is wide open for the taking. Diggs completes the 11 personal and allows the weapons to slide into proper roles that better stresses a defense. Overall im not that impressed with highend depth of talent in this class. I feel by 22 you are essentially in the second round.
  23. I dont see a rd 2 Rb as a back up. In my eyes its a co starter. Whoever can greater impact the offense is the direction. Whoever the #2 Rb is they are still going to be touching the ball 15 plus times a game.
  24. The offense needs playmakers. They are set at the top 3 wr spots. They showed creativity to get every drop of production out of Mckenzie the last 2 years. If they put a dynamic athlete in that role while developing them into their system it makes a whole lot of sense to me. With Diggs the Bills are not tied to any type of Wr as a need. I do think the best weapon available at 54 needs to be the pick. Whether thats wr, te, or rb.
