  1. There is a reason why he goes against common trends in the NFL. Whether it's his defenses, his offenses, him and his staff know the win/loss rate of sub packages vs defenses. Call it what you want. When you look at the metric NE is always around the top of the league it's not a coincidence.
  2. B.S. he might not have a analytic team or group, but he looks at football an analytic way.
  3. Best news of the day. He is the juice for the run game. Gore is good between the tackles. Outside the tackles Singletary looks very good. Singletary would be a massive key to success. I like the Bill's chances better by the day. I like McDermotts approach, its week 4. Just another game. They played 2 of the worst offenses in modern history vs Miaim, and Faulks Jets.
  4. That's very promising. Him wrecking Brady would be fantastic.
  5. Not saying it will happen or hes as good. Donald led the league in sacks with 20 last year. He didnt record a sack til week 4.
  6. He is what I saw when he came out. He reminds me of Farve. So far hes right there. He has the same moxy to him. Does the standard NO,NO,No.... Omg Yes, Yes, Yes.
  7. Knox had a great game. Him becoming a passing threat is a great thing for this offense.
  8. Basically, the third down reverse. Modern day offense uses jet motion. With a fast player it stretches the defense horizontally forces communication, and split second decisions by defenders.
  9. Being aggressive and getting in a shoot out are two different things. Passing more often on first down vs running is being aggressive. Allen passing 45 to 50 times isnt what I'm asking either. I think the Bill's defense holds NE to the low 20s. Buffalo needs to score 24 plus. To do that they need to maintain their aggressiveness. Both games vs the Giants and Bengals. Up by 14 they go conservative. Coming out of halftime they ran on every first down til the game was in jeopardy. Against NE they cant slip into that trap.
  10. Buffalo limited Bell and Barkley. Buffalo will be in the game. McDermott has a pretty good read on what they do offensively. Oliver could make an impact with interior pressure. Imo it comes down to how aggressive McDermott allows the offense to be. Paired with how many point ending mistakes do they make.
  11. Too me his comp was Farve. So far not too far off. Great plays great throws. Bone headed plays and throws sprinkled in. Once Allen hits a few deep balls in a game he will have a monster game.
  12. At times in the games they go too deep. Imo that's helped attributed to the sputtering for a few stretches. If you find a formation or play working keep going to it, until its stopped. At times they have gotten too multiple.
  13. I disagree completely. Last time NE gave up a TD Mahomes was throwing balls all over the field. You have to be aggressive. Run, run, pass punt plays into their hands. Now Allen needs to be smart, but he also should be the difference if they pull off the win. You have to take it to them. Waiting for Brady and the defense to make an error is a losing bet. Go make plays. With our defense they need to bet on Allen and the offense making more plays then them.
  14. Singletary, Jones, Foster, and the TE need to step up. No one has threatened them deep. Imo Foster could be the key. It's a tough matchup. Buffalo are live dogs. Buffalo is by far the best defense NE will face. McDermott has had good success at slowing down their offense. Buffalo makes plays on defense and the offense avoids TO it will be a close game.
  15. The AFC is wide open. Buffalo should hit double digit wins for the first time in ages.
  16. The Jets had a freaking 3rd string qb. Ne opponents are winless on the season. They are as bad as Buffalos. Buffalo has played far from perfect and won 3 games. If Buffalo can avoid the mistakes that take points off the board they will have a chance.
  17. Correct. When the end is their, either hit the guy if open or throw it away. The 10 yard waiting game killed him.
  18. A young team vs an old team. Buffalo is still figuring some things out on offense. Ne has done the same stuff with Brady for years. Going into the game Buffalo will be home dogs and the margin for error will be small. First game of the year Buffalo has to raise their play and attention to detail. Let's see if they can.
  19. Who has NE beat? Pittsburgh than Miami and Jets w/o Darnold? First test of the season for both teams.
  20. They handled business. Mistakes previous Buffalo teams couldn't overcome Allen has lead them to do it. Game on the line. Need a Touchdown. Allen has done it 2 out of 3 weeks. Now Buffalo cant put themselves in those situations often, but having a Qb win games they shouldn't is promising. Cleaning up the mistakes is a must. I will sit here and say if Buffalo avoids TO they can beat anyone. Even NE.
  21. Buffalo did "enough" to beat 3 poor football teams. Allen made enough throws to win when it mattered most. The Yeldon fumble and Allen pick put life into a dead team. Can Buffalo play a clean enough game, and make enough to beat NE?
  22. The NFL has wanted a busier FA period. An actual trade period. Now they have one. Yes, they are tanking. It's a method that actually works. Striving for mediocrity does nothing. The larger markets cant handle it. Miami will not show up to games.
  23. It pains PFF to be complimentary or positive in terms of Josh Allen's play. He bucked their projections.
  24. The Bengals line is terrible. Dalton is an average Qb. They are going to throw alot. Besides, maybe 1 or 2 deep passes, I think Buffalo get 3 plus turnovers. By halftime the game will be all but over. 28 or 38 points by half. 1 or 2 defensive Tds. The offense will move the ball well by will be measured.
  25. Gore, Yeldon and Dimarco are going to be the backs Sunday. I think Yeldon has a very productive day. Some nice runs and a few catches. Not bringing in another back is a good sign.
