The NFL has wanted a busier FA period. An actual trade period. Now they have one. Yes, they are tanking. It's a method that actually works. Striving for mediocrity does nothing. The larger markets cant handle it. Miami will not show up to games.

It pains PFF to be complimentary or positive in terms of Josh Allen's play. He bucked their projections.

The Bengals line is terrible. Dalton is an average Qb. They are going to throw alot. Besides, maybe 1 or 2 deep passes, I think Buffalo get 3 plus turnovers. By halftime the game will be all but over. 28 or 38 points by half. 1 or 2 defensive Tds. The offense will move the ball well by will be measured.

Gore, Yeldon and Dimarco are going to be the backs Sunday. I think Yeldon has a very productive day. Some nice runs and a few catches. Not bringing in another back is a good sign.

Bill Belichick does this routinely. Moss, Brown, Dillon. Revis, and Harrison on defense. The Eagles and Rams done this recently. Today, it's a 2 horse race in the AFC East. National media speaking it's a 2 horse race in the conference with NE and KC. Adding Ramsey puts Buffalo into that conversation. I get it if people are worried that Allen's Confidence is too fragile to handle a talkative Cb.

McDermotts defense is not Jacksonville. He doesnt ask his players to do unrealistic things. That's why Jacksonvilles defense routinely give up big plays. McDermott has the defensive mind to shut down NE and Kc with Ramsey added to the team. Yes, he is a mouth. Many here wanted Mayfield for the same reason. He didn't do an interview about Allen. He bashed every Qb he faced that season besides Watson. Finally, yes. I would give up a 1st and 3rd for the best shutdown Cb in the league in hia prime for a defensive minded coach in a conference with Ried and Mahomes. Buffalo has 100 mil in cap space. They can afford to Pay Ramsey and everyone else.

I want a team that can win a Superbowl. In a passing NFL. Having a defense that can wipe out the pass would be ideal. Ramsey added to what we have could be the trick today. Not in 2022 if Beane is 100% on all his picks.

Drip some swag on the defense. Now what? Ramsey on one side white the other. Wallace backup. Move White to the Slot vs Edelman or Hill. Ramsey on Watkins or Brown. It would take Buffalos defense to good to win Superbowl defense good.

Culture? Maybe. Not fixing the terrible Oline? Most likely. The Bill's changed everyone around Allen on a terrible offense. The Offense only needs to be middle of the road for Buffalo to be good. 2 first are not worth 50/50 odds at beating NE or KC? I believe Buffalo is good enough to make the playoffs now. Ramsey would move them from wildcard to maybe Division and possibly Superbowl. I dont know why so many want to wait for a wildcard playoff game. Maybe they win but face NE or KC and lose.

Ramsey. He is actually available. Buffalo has the #1 pass defense on paper I know. Kc and Ne throw that paper in the trash. Play to beat the best. Get the best guy you can get. Top 5 guys dont hit FA. They are tagged or traded.

Do you believe the Bill's can beat NE or KC. Today I don't. With Ramsey I think it's a possession game. That's what makes it worth it to me. Buffalo has the money. I gt faith Josh is the guy. Those are the only 2 teams in the AFC that scare me. Be patient and you hopefully pay a kings ransom to Allen because he is a Franchise guy. That's only 2 years away. The moment you think you have a Qb your in the window. Once you pay him the window slowly goes down.

McDermott is a rare defensive coach. He is not tied to a "defense". Cover 2, Cover 3 the 46. Most defensive minded coaches and co Ordinators believe too much in "their" scheme. McDermott schemes week to week. I dont think Buffalo has the talent to make the superbowl. I think Buffalo can easily make the playoffs. I would give up a first plus. To have Ramsey for 2 meetings with Ne maybe another, or a playoff game vs Kc.

McDermotts defense is more multiple in coverage. Given White and Ramsey, I think you would see McDermott get more exotic in their coverages. Norman was in the conversation for best Cb in the league with McDermott.

What #1 or Edge rusher is available? The pass defense can shut down 3/4 of the league. Ramsey gives them a shot at shutting down Brady, and Mahomes. You do that you can beat anyone anywhere.

Tuesday going into week 3 I think Buffalo wins starts 3-0. Buffalo is going to be favored in 9 to 10 of the last 14 games. Now what is the point of all this? Make the playoffs or chase a championship? Buffalo HAS to make a few moves to have a shot vs beating KC and NE in January. Ramsey instantly turns Buffalo from a nice little team and story to an actual contender.

Why are so many fans afraid of the modern day star athlete? It's not a made for TV movie here. If Buffalo wants to win they need great players. Most great players know they are great. Put them in a position to succeed and make plays, they will have no issue.

My point is Tampa2 took over the NFL for 3 to 5 years. It then became so common that it gets easily exploited in passing situations if diagnosed. That now is happening with the Seattle cover 3. The Jags run the closest version and rarely deviate. There is do deception with what they do.

Josh Norman became a household name in this defense. Ramsey would be in a better situation here. Jax plays the same dated Seattle cover 3. That defense is going the way of the tampa 2. Its been around so long teams know how to attack it. The end of the day, playoff football becomes match up football. Ramsey allows the Bill's to matchup with NE and Kc. Ramsey and White can help slow those offenses down. Right now the Bill's will have their handsful with both.

Sure in a perfect world all the top players are Larry Fitzgerald or Kyle Williams. That is not the case for the vast majority of players. To beat NE and KC Buffalo is going to need a player like Ramsey.

He just kinda shotgun spread every Qb. As a Db he plays cat and mouse with the Qb. I dont think it's a big deal. The defense is too talented and Marrone wasted it. There defensive scheme is dated. If a top 5 player at any position becomes available for any reason, Buffalo needs to be in on them. Those players usually dont hit FA often. They have the cap space, I think they have a solid offense and defense but are 1 or 2 players away from contending with NE and KC.

Ramsey and White would give Buffalo the best Duo in the league. To be Elite and a Superbowl contender you need Elite players. Elite players bring their own baggage. Bruce, Kelly they all had their moments. Ramsey is an elite cornerback. In McDermotts defense he would be a star.
