I like the white face mask. All white. White face mask would be pretty clean.

Will Epenesa be inactive on Sunday? Interesting scenario
Mat68 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I could see see him dressing or sitting. Epenesa doesnt need to come on until injury or November. No OTA, no preseason. I think he is a guy who performs in games. At the end of the day all they have had is practice. I think you dress him to see what hes got. Even for a series or 2 to get some tape and feel. I dont think you can dress enough pass rushers. The beautiful thing is we dont need him to play. -
First Coach Fired This Season and When

Gase. The Jets have a quick trigger finger. They got 1 and 5 or so. Its a wrap. -
Is anyone else less invested in this season than normal?
Mat68 replied to Cal's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I get that without preseason and training camp some fans dont have an attachment they have had in previous years. For me, after last year, and trading for Diggs I have an extremely high anticipation for the start of the season. -
Kaeperknick being ranked 81 is disrespectful to every starting qb in the NFL. Blaine Gabbert out played him. That year Kap was like 74. Now hes 81? I guess sales are down and need the pub.

Great job as always. You hit on alot of the finer points that makes Buffalo a Super Bowl contender. The team is not one of those start ups that "win" the offseason. Over 20 years we have seen in the past. Where areas of the team are ready and other parts of the team/organization are not. Every aspect of the franchise is there. Last season, crunch time the offense couldnt beat man to man. Diggs helps solve that issue. Last season doubling Brown, pressing Beasley was easy to figure out. Ne and Baltimore were good enough outside to press 0 blitz when it counted. Diggs makes teams second guess the later. Having a guy who has and wants to make the big time catches is huge. Having a guy who can take a hitch, a slant, a screen 50 yards is another element the offense has lack for years. Ive been an Allen guy since the start. I think he takes a jump in play and is a darkhorse for MVP. Buffalo plays big time primetime games. Ofcourse, there are ifs but here is the case. Win the division for the first time since 95. Buffalo is still a favorite. Increase in yards and Tds. I think with Diggs those are possible outcomes. Lastly, there are 4 primetime spots where Allen can have a moment. Maybe not out Duel Mahomes but plays close. Other games show some 4th quarter heroics hes done the last 2 years. Some are big ifs but I see a pretty clear path to make it possible, and I dont think any of those are improbable.

Tre White agrees to contract extension

Best player on the team. Signing Dawkins and White are no brainer moves but ones Buffalo wouldnt make for decades. -
Last year they lost every meaningful game by a play. Defense, offense or teams. More often than not I think it came down to offense. Buffalo is too deep and talented to lose every "close" game. With Diggs and Moss the offense will be more productive. I think they could go 10-6 and be well improved. 7-9 is Allen is trash and they are back in the Qb market. Allen vaults in the top 10 and haters will hate.

I think Singeltary gets more touches. I can see Moss getting more carries.

Andre Smith traded to Bills for conditional 7th
Mat68 replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sounds like Joseph is a longshot to make it. Not sure he makes practice squad at this point. -
I think doing that with Diggs, Singletary, or Brown makes way more sense. Scheme some touches for the playmakers. Mckenzie will be hard pressed to find touches.

Bills practices - time and coverage?
Mat68 replied to Deadstroke's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No differant than every year. After pre season game 3 the team moves to Orchard Park and practice access becomes limited. This year reporters have been muffled but granted the same access. I assume Chris Brown was temperily removed to make the mining of information more difficult for opposing teams. -
They are very different players. Most fans like the excitement, the flash. Fitz played/plays a very visualy pleasing manner when he is hot. When he is not on he is pretty bad and gets a quick hook. Taylor is/was very consistent. He wont make the wow plays Fitz would, but also wont have the mistakes either. As time goes on I think we remember more of the Fitz magic and the bad has sorta faded. Taylor did take them to the playoffs. I remeber Kyle Williams TD and the miracouls Bengals v Ravens game more than anything else that season. I dont see it as a race difference but more style of play and charisma.

Davis looks like a possible player. I think he looks like the 4th wr and primary outside wr behind Diggs and Brown. Im really liking the roster. Taking into account offense and defense Buffalo is one of the deepest teams in the league. If Allen reaches the lower reaches of his potential Buffalo give KC all they want.

I think your miss interpreting 40 speed = seperation ability. I Hodgins has little chance outside because he wont threaten any CB deep. As a slot reciever he hss real potential to make a career for himself. His agility ratings suggest he should excel at those kind of routes and generate the required seperation.

Addison is a backup. Epenesa is a rookie without an offseason. Do they need Clowney? No. Would he improve our defense and pass rush? Yes. Also, I think Buffalo has a chance to win it all. They need to enter the arms race. If it he is a slight upgrade but keeps him off KC, BAL or NE its still worth it.

The herd did a break down of organization turn over a few weeks ago. From front office to special teams. What teams have the least and highest level of turnover in the NFL in 2020. Due to Covid the analysis was, the teams you expect are at the top, the lesser run teams near the bottom. The good run teams handle this better. KC, SF, BAL, PIT all top 5. Buffalo is 1. The team goes as far as Allen and Edmunds. They ball out Buffalo can win the whole damn thing.

I really hope Buffalo gets an asterick for winning the Covid 19 Superbowl ?

Im in the car bussiness in Fl. Run a 30 person sales team, have a 30 person service department and a 6 person parts department. We work with each other and the public daily. Everyone healthy, having record breaking months. Its not football but we are dealing with more people on a day to day basis than a football team would. Its not all fire brim stone. They can figure it out.
-
Agreed. With the way the offseason has played out due to Covid I see Buffalo as benefactors. All major contributors return for the most part. Top rookies are coming into supporting roles. No major change to any posistion group. Basically, if Allen, Edmunds, White, and Oliver improve the Bills most likley go from playoff team to contender.

Bills need to get to 81 players by start of TC
Mat68 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the Bills are perfectly placed for this offseason. Most returning player and coaches in the league. The 7 to cut are pretty easy. Probably a returning p.S or UDFA. I think it also helps get some better quality punter into the building. I wonder if team will keep an extra punter now that its 80?
