Pretty cool my day off is Tuesday. Update on the inactives? Moving of Covid list? Can the Titans hold off the moves til the release of active inactives? I think the defense scores and the Bills win big. Years past this would be the let down. I dont think thats the case with this team and Qb. They seem focused on making names for themselves. First primetime game this Bills team is for real.

I trade Julio by the deadline this season and Ryan at the opening of FA. They should be right their for Lawerence or Fields.

I think Buffalo keeps rolling. I think this has a chance for Buffalo to put a complete game together. Offense and defense play well and win going away.

I think in traditional run sets Buffo will be fine. Buffalo will play 4-3 and handle the run. No Humphries and Davis most likley plays into heavier sets.

When the game moved to Tues i looked tp see if either Qb was available. Doubt not they play though.

,Pretty sure I have heard and read Russell Wilson has never recieved 1 vote for MVP. That being said Allen has every oppurtunity to win it out right. Playing KC, SF, SEA, PIT, and NE twice gives Allen the platform to make a name for himself. Even if they lose some of those games and Allen plays well it would be hard to not give it to him. Buffalo wins their Division and Allen finishes in the top 5 in passing yards and Tds he has a strong case.

Hes the franchise. If Allen gets hurt running Qb dive in the second quarter of a game in October just fire the staff. Allen runs enough off script, and they put enough tape out there for defenses to account for his running.

No. Daboll just hit the lottery. Daboll is a pretty good coach. Allen is throwing lasers in the redzone and is going to get Daboll paid. I expect Dorsey gets the not. Doesnt matter. When Brown and Beasley had career years Jones couldnt stay on the field. Davis is a better vertical pass catcher. That lob pass from Carr that just out of reach Davis imo comes down with it. The 39 yarder vs LAR and diving Td grab vs MIA are plays Jones routinly fails to make.

I would argue Perriman and Crowder are not that different from Brown and Beasley. Allen provided both players career years. Herndon not much different than Knox. To say they would be similar careers is not accurate. Darnold does the same mistakes now that he did his first game at USC. Allen went from project to elite. Allen did that. Not Daboll, not Mcdermott.

Imo it comes down to stats and models projecting future success. Many draft gurus have their own biasis and formulas projecting future success. There was alot of chatter that Allen was the best option. In most cases Wyoming was at a disadvantage at every position but Qb his last season. Allens best was better than everybodys but elite of elite qbs in the NFL. In a world of spread sets and 2 hand touch big 12 defense Allens numbers are shocking. Like everything in todays day and age Allen became the perfect polarizing pick with confirmation bias on either side.

Yearly Qb rankings are not career acheievement rewards. Allen is the top Qb in the AFC this year through 3 games. In the NFL he is behind only Russel Wilson. 1. Wilson 2. Allen 3. Mahomes 4. Rodgers 5. Prescotte Allen has a chance to steal the MVP award from Wilson. Buffalo imo has a better defense and I think Buffalo finishes with a better record. If Allen duels Mahomes in 2 Thursdays he will put the league on notice. 3 more primetime games will provide the platform for Allen to flurish.

I dont think a space eater in the problem. They played the #1 running team by a wide margin. Milano and Edmunds are not where they need to be in run fits. Its also the second game they saw another team. Give it some time. I think they are going to be a very good compliment to the offense.

You can tell what media personalites actually watch Buffalo play. The offense goes as Allen goes. If Allen plays this way all season Buffalo are Superbowl contenders.

He the wild inaccurate Qb. He may never get past the narrative around his draft breakdown. A few weeks throwing the ball over the yard and winning helps. I think it comes down to the 4 primetime games. He puts on a performance like Sunday without the fumbles the overall media may change there toon.

Hes a rookie. He is going to miss some easy ones Hauscka missed some easy on too. Get him some confidence and see if he can make some long ones.

The fumbles have come from him doing too much. Like it or not Allen is going to do that. As a team Buffalo needs to limit his hits. I want the offense to run Allen less. Move away from the zone read. If the play breaks down, he runs ok. But get down or out of bounds. The pass in the endzone was a situation where he was being asked to execute an insansly difficult pass. Mahomes, Rodgers, and Wilson would struggle with that pass too. Reverse roll out running against his body float it over the wr and defender in the flat. The narrative is set. He is a turnover machine and is too inaccurate to win. Some how some way he threw 40 passes at 70%. 2 tds 1 rushing over 300 yards passing.

This comes down to the development of Allen. If he become a top 10 qb or better I think you could call it a push. Even if Mahomes becomes the goat.
