Justin Herbert is being predicted to Miami over Tua
Mat68 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think there are many people that have Herbert over Tua. This is one of the biggest unknowns of the draft. -

This was almost as fun as Le'veon Bell's Rap albulm announcing he is going to the Jets. -

Any Position the Bills wouldn't take the BPA in Round 2?
Mat68 replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The way the roster is constructed they dont have a must draft a guy position. I think anything is on the table. From the position standppint Qb is the most unlikly but woudnt hate it. Perfect world they would like a Rd 1 rated Edge, Linebaker, Cb, or OT. Outside of Qb those are primer positions. I think more likley they will pick from RB, Wr, and Saftey. In most years I think saftey would be where they go. However, last year ended with Beane saying they need to score more points, so they go Wr or Rb. There is a high probablilty someone they liked at those position will be available. Whether its Mims, Claypool, possibly Higgins could potentialy be available. Same applies for Rb one of the top rated guys will be available. Buffalo is set up pretty well. A premier position falls or they pick the best available skill player. -
Singeltary is a fantastic find. Hes slippery and sneaky fast like a compacted Fred Ex. The biggest issue the offense had besides #1 wr was backup Rb. When Singeltary was not in the game the offense was very predictable and became stagnet as the year went on. Find a back that can do every Singeltary can do is huge for the offense to improve. With that being said what player will be the highest rated when Buffalo is on the clock. This year there are multiple players at both Wr and Rb who are rated higher then the players who went in the first rd last season. Imo that os where the value is going to be. There is going to be a player at Rb and Wr available at 54, who many here would have wanted if Buffalo picked at 22. With the issues at rb after Singeltary in Buffalo its likely Buffalo could get great value and fill a need if they go Rb at 54

My pick for the 2nd round - Jonathan Taylor
Mat68 replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hes a big, fast guy. Im curious where he goes. With his production, and physcial ability I could see him going in rd 1. At 54 hes a no brainer imo. -
I dont think either guy is worth those contracts today. Neither are at pro bowl or pro bowl alternate level yet. Those are the guys Buffalo fans adore the team traidionally over pays. The truely elite guys like Gilmore, in this case White, become too expensive and are not retained. I think Dawkins is closer to being a core player than Milano, but neither are as important or as good as White. I hope Buffalo breaks the mold. Pay White and letnthe middle of the roster players walk who want too much money. They got 2020 to see if either guy is worth it. If Milano looks like a real playmaker maybe you keep him over Dawkins.

Which running back do you hope the Bills draft and why?
Mat68 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jacobs was the only first rd back last year. Edwards Helaire is better imo. If he slips I think Buffalo would trade up for him. He is very similar to Singletray. They can bascilly switch em without missing a beat. -

Singletary is very good back. Buffalo needs a other good back. Whether its Edwards-Helaire, Moss, Swift, Taylor, or Dobbins. Height/weight doesnt really matter to me. Get another 3 down back and make the offense less predictable when Singletary is out of the game. -
Unless one takes a team freindly deal I dont see any signed this summer. White has earned top corner money. I think you pick up the 5th year option and find a time in the next year to get it done. For me neither Dawkins or Milano have earned top dollar. If they dont drop the price tag you see if they can elevate their play.

Money, production, length of contract all leads to a mid round pick over a vet. Players on contract 2 and 3 are more expensive and less productive.

Beane: Not even contemplating trading up to 1st round
Mat68 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anything said by a Gm in April means nothing. Come draft night if someone they covet as a top 10 guys is there pick 25 to 32 I bet beane makes a call. -

Report - Browns in discussion with Vikings on OBJ trade
Mat68 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rumors never pan out... they dont randomly leak info to small time radio hosts. If this was Glazer or an actual NFL insider there may be something to it. Glazer was on OBJ out of NYG midseason before the trade. Cleveland is building around Baker. They will play 22 personal all day long. That set Baker had the best success as a rookoe and last year. Chubb or Hunt at Rb. OBJ and Landry outside with Njuko and Hooper inside. Outside multiple first rds OBj isnt going anywhere. Haslam likes the attention OBJ brings imo. -
Justin Herbert is being predicted to Miami over Tua
Mat68 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The premise is right the analogy is wrong. The stronger armed, larger, more athletic Qb is Huebert. Tua is a massive injury risk and is still injured. Even healthy the forementioned are all in Hueberts favor not Tua. -

Mat68 replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Any position. If one of the qb prospect falls why wouldnt you? I dont see Barkley winning a playoff game if Allen is hurt. -
There are a million reasons why a player isnt productive in college In terms of college use, there is a reason coaches coach at Memphis and not Alabama. With 18, 19, 20 year olds some mature diffetenty. If he is talented with the ball in his hands its a coaches fault not getting them more involed. Coaches have their systems and players production all over the country is at times limited by it. Many offenses dont have the quality at Qb to take advantage of some of these guys. I think his use in the backfield were designed touches. They struggled getting him the ball outside and down the field due to qb play.

They had plays to win the game. They didnt make them. -
Free Agency News and Updates - around the league

The problem is coverage can take away Fuller or Cooks. When they need a play who does Watson have? What Allen had to deal with the last 2 years, Watson will have to do it for the first time. -
Brandon cooks/4th round pick traded to Texans for pick 57
Mat68 replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The LA Rams problem has been the eroding of the teams core. They went flashy on defense without depth. I question the scouting of the Rams. The good players drafted were selected under Fisher. Since they went flashy, sure they hit gold with Kupp but that is it. -
Having Brown really limits the need for Cooks. Brown is very similar player. This past season Brown was also the more productive player. Diggs is an all around wr. Buffalo has niche guys but none have the versitility of Diggs.

Teams have downgraded Tua for poor combine meetings
Mat68 replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Teams that need a Qb cant wait a year for 1. If they did they would pass and pick Lawerence or Feilds next year. -
This is the best WR class of our generation
Mat68 replied to Tesla03's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Best is overstated. I think the depth of the class is the best of recent memory. I think it was Daniel Jeremiah said there are 20 wrs with a rd 3 grade or better. I know hes not gospel but an Idea of what some are saying. -
I think its probably Foster based off last year. If they draft 2 would assume 1 of them is a dynamic guy. They would need a way to manufactur touches and that way could be in returns. It all though improves the offense. Idk if they draft 2 but wouldnt hate it if they did. I will be very suprised if at pick 54 there are not 2 to 3 guys worthy of the pick. I think this year lines up to what Buffalo needs to improve on offensivly. The offense was bottom third, the defense top 5. Diggs takes away the need to draft a wr. They have the abiltity to take go BPA. Normally De and Cb dont make it to 54. The depth at wr will allow a quality wr to be available when Buffalo picks. With a high probabily its a player who would have been in the conversation at 22.

uniforms I’d like to see us go back to for full time
Mat68 replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Red helments, overall same color patterns they currently have. Throw backs should be this down to the white shoes. Most hall of famers, most wall of famers, retired numbers, and the teams longest run of sustained success. 100% Buffalo needs to do it.
