  1. A combination of him and Klein replace Alexander.
  2. I agree. Beane has shown that he fills every hole in FA and enters the draft full BPA. I dont think they go to the draft with Singeltary Yeldon and Perry as the backs onnthe roster.
  3. I suspect the last piece added this week is a Rb. I think it could be Gordan, Hyde, or Freeman.
  4. At 22 who is the dynamic edge? Who is the bookend OT. The top Wrs will surely be gone, the versitle hybrid defenders will be gone. For a while now I thought 22 was really no mans land. Basiclly, paying rd 1 money for a day 2 player.
  5. This year Buffalo had 2 5th rounders, and 3 6th rounders. After the trade Buffalo still has 7 picks. The 4th round pick is for 2021. The draft is important. Beane out bid 2 other teams for a #1 wr and didnt mortgage the draft to do it.
  6. I felt like at 22 Buffalo misses out on a blue chip prospect. Trading it made sense. Getting a wr to grow with Allen was a big need. Diggs is that. I still think the offense needs more weapons and day 2 has multiple. Whether its Hamler, Claypool, Higgins or a top Rb those are all better picks at 54 not 22.
  7. Buffalo still has 7 picks in the 2020 draft. By getting something for 2 players who were getting cut the Bills could afford to pay a precieved premium. The 4th is 2021 and by then Id suspect moves have been made and that pick is replaced.
  8. Teams that gave the offense trouble manned up outside. Baltimore, NE come to mind. Diggs in those situations is a difference maker.
  9. Filling the void that Alexander left was a big lowkey need. Klein fits the mold. Steps in as Sam. Give them some flexability with Edmunds in sub packages.
  10. Beane and the Bills in general dont have alot of leaks. Before FAs were not leaked until they were on planes to Buffalo. Buffalo is tight lipped, so if the player or agent dont leak who knows??
  11. So she knows nothing. Could take some time. Could change.
  12. Makes sense. He is a decent second Te. Knox looks like the starter and has potential to be good.
  13. Im not a fan of Higgins. Im not a scout though. Height, weight, speed there are better prospects imo. Route running there are better prospects. In terms of production there are more prolific wrs. I dont see him as a day 1 player, but him paired with another wr isnt a bad idea.
  14. Outside of a few late rd flyiers, they havent brought in a top prospect yet. Pro scouting, they did a very good job of identify Jon Brown and Cole Beasley last year. First year under Beane was more house cleaning and cleaning the cap mess. Last year with all the addition the team seemed to hit more than they missed in FA. The draft was also solid. Im curious to see what they covet in a wr. This year you can really pick your flavor with how deep it is.
  15. Im curius to see who they bring in FA. I believe they go edge or LB in round 1. Day 2 i think they get multiple skill players on offense.
  16. Simple as out going FA vs in coming FA. Players, cut dont count into it the formula. If Buffalo hits on this offseason. Ie draft and FA, I think this will be the last year Buffalo has more incoming vs outgoing Fa.
  17. Allen didnt fit into any of their models. From a pure numbers perspective Allen is suppose to bust and have 0 NFL success based off their projections. They will never talk about his strengths if there is even a bit of weakness. PFF is grasping for straws with Allen at this point.
  18. Fits the mold of a modern NFL backer. Would add more speed to the linebacker core. This would make alot of sense.
  19. You pay a Qb a year early. Now Dak has all the power. Hes coming off a career year, Mahomes is going to reset the market. 50 to 60 mil? Dak is going to want 40.
  20. Both. I think for the right price they trade down. I also think discussions about Haskins are real. Tua is a better Qb than Haskins. Rivera would want a leader on offense and that is Tua not Haskins.
  21. Afraid? No. Big money for a Rb is still relativley low on the in the overall spectrum of money. Ironicly, with the growing trend of drafting Rb vs signing them. I think value is swinging to signing one. Singeltary is good but seems better in a limited touch basis. The offense needs a lead back imo. Buffalo can get more impact vs the money at Rb compared to any position this year.
  22. This is a perfect no risk signing. No different than if Olsen signed here. Norman is a perfect fit for the defense. If he doesnt have it anymore? It wont effect much.
  23. This is important, but find the line were great stops. Some drafts have 5, some 12 some 15. After a certain point getting more day 2 picks vs 1 late first makes alot of sense.
  24. I agree but most drafts dont have 22 studs in it. Buffalo needs a significant increase in offensive weapons. Im not convinced that there is a significant difference in impact from pick. 22 to 50. If there is than absolutely take him at 22. If you get to pick up an extra pick in the top 50 I would do it.
  25. In a draft full of good wrs it doesnt take much to fall behind a good amount of other players. Higgins hurt himself. The draft is deep. Outside of one of Buffalos top 15 players being availbe at 22 the best move is to trade down. Get as many day 2 picks as possible.
