I dont see Beane and Mcdermott drafting a rb in the first rd. I dont see them signing an expensive backs. I expect Dline, Oline, Db, Lb, Wr in rd 1. I feel like Frazier is recieving the credit for improving the defense and getting more aggressive in places. I 100% feel that was Mcdermott. I think they hire from within or outside does really matter its Mcdermotts scheme and defense. He just does not handle the game day calling of plays.
