  1. I vote either: last season of "Game of Thrones," or trying to decide between wings or a garbage plate.
  2. Frankly, I'd rather play him in the playoffs than in the SB. The SB just ain't fair w/ that guy anymore. Most of the QB's in the AFC will be in their 1st one, or maybe 2nd. Brady has 10...or is it 11? Either way, the experience factor is ridiculous.
  3. My ultimate Bills fantasy has always been to get those 4 SB's back & add one, so we'd have a 5-4 record in the big game. Allen might get more than that, though.
  4. I didn't care about the draft day thing. I thought he took plays off, especially once the seasons wore on & we weren't in the playoff picture.
  5. I mean, I hate to say it - because on paper, I don't think there is much question we're the best team in the league. That comes w/ a big target. I probably would have preferred a SB run to be more stealth and as the talented underdog. But that's out now. Oh, well. It's not really something to complain about.
  6. In a non-related note, the Pats actually picked a good time to be bad. If the AFC had been like this when they were on top, they'd probably have half the # of titles...
  7. This draft is deep & very good at CB. I'd rather see them draft a couple of guys. His attitude was terrible here. Maybe it would be different because we're a contender now, but it just left a bad taste. Not a fan.
  8. Not a bad ranking in the OP. I think KC will still be in the mix though - I don't see them dropping out of the playoffs, though it will be VERY tough for them to win the division again. Bills should be able to secure the top seed if they can stay healthy. After that, I actually see the Broncos & Bengals as the biggest threats. I agree that the Phins could snag that last spot, depending on the new coach. That's not really a ranking, I realize - just some thoughts.
  9. Agreed - but I was still jubilant at this news. I feel like we just couldn't stop Hill w/ the skillset he has. We haven't had as much difficulty with any other receivers.
  10. I can't remember the last trade like this that I thought was a bad move for both teams. It feels like KC gave up a shot to be top contender again this year, especially in that division. And Miami gave away a lot of their future. Has a team ever given up this much for a WR?
  11. I didn't need this thread headline today.
  12. As much talent has come to the AFC - it seems like the Bills should now be clear faves, at least for this season. We have arguably the weakest division, and the AFCW is brutal. The #1 seed is never a given, but we have a great opportunity to snag it this season.
  13. Man, that is a LOT to give up for a receiver. Shades of the Herschel Walker trade. It helps the Chiefs in the long run, but without Hill, the Bills are now in pole position in the AFC this season.
  14. We'll be the 1st team to win the offseason, AND win the Super Bowl. And no, I'm not jinxing anything. Teams can't stop the Bills, or score on the Bills. We're gonna roll like a circular object on a significant incline.
  15. Russia's been in the news a lot.
  16. I swear - I honestly thought this would be a really quiet FA for the Bills. When they signed Settle, I was like "there's the splash." Beane really wasn't happy after that KC game.
  17. You're equating the comparison with the results. I'm just looking at the situation - which is the ONLY thing being compared. It's pretty silly to say, "well, BB's defense gave up 60 yards in 16 seconds, almost as bad - but he still won the game!" Again, it came down to a coin toss - the Pats won, the Bills didn't. I really don't care that much. If it makes you feel all jubilant, hang onto it. My thread is about the Pats irrelevancy. Am I allowed to comment on that, on a Bills board? Should I be all, "sssssshhhhh...let's not say anything!"
  18. Clearly, you didn't understand the discussion. The poster said that the "13 seconds" simply wouldn't have happened under BB. Technically, he's right - it took Mahomes 16 seconds in the AFCCG. If you're hanging your hat on 3 seconds as the big differentiator, more power to you. Doesn't matter. You guys are completely irrelevant now, and are looking at a long stretch of mediocrity at best w/ a QB who probably won't be considered in the top 8-9 in the AFC for years. Enjoy the DVD's, and trolling here.
  19. Again - the situation was basically the same. If the Bills somehow "choked" in the final seconds this past season then the Pats did the same in regulation in the AFCCG. The other poster was saying that BB never would have had that happen. He did. Period. Sorry that it's so hard to understand for you, but the facts are the facts.
  20. BB didn't know they were going to win the coin toss. The collapse was exactly the same. As for the former comment, the Pats beat the Bills for close to 2 decades. I'm going to enjoy every second of this "new era" for that team & its fans, and comment on it accordingly. It's fun - and like I said, what I hoped for.
  21. We actually need a goal-line guy. I'm not sure if this signing fills that - but that's what has been lacking, more than anything.
  22. I'd guess that we still draft a RB - but this is a solid pick-up and good option to have.
  23. No, I'd disagree w/ this. We actually are cool, and they are actually pathetic. Those 13 seconds actually DID happen under BB, in the 2018 AFCCG. Actually, they were 16 seconds, but who's counting. The Pats gave up almost 60 yards to Mahomes at the end of that game, in 16 seconds. KC tied the game, and the only difference was that the Pats won the coin toss in OT.
  24. I've said it before - 6 is the new 27. And I say that as a Yankees fan. But it's increasingly hilarious to see Boston fans who once ridiculed their Yankee counterparts for even mentioning 27 championships to now mention "6" in every other sentence. "I'm good, brah - I've got 6 rings under my belt."
  25. I was a big Whaley believer. But ultimately, you really can't do anything w/out a true franchise QB. I'm really grateful for this time right now. Allen makes everything possible. We had to wait a long time between Kelly & Allen, so I'm going to appreciate every second while JA is a Bill.
