  1. I guess my memory isn't that good - others on the thread have said the same. I have never been all that impressed w/ him. He has a lot of skills, but I just don't put him on the level of an Allen or Mahomes, and I'd even say Herbert & Burrow are better (among the younger QB's).
  2. 100% agree on this. He's a nice QB, but he hasn't shown anything near what Mahomes & Allen have shown so far. I don't see how anyone objectively could put Burrow ahead of either of those guys.
  3. I missed Mahomes when I 1st posted - I think he actually had Mahomes 3rd after Brady & Rogers. Then Burrow, Watson, Herbert, Allen. I think even he got confused, because he said he had Allen 6th, but then someone asked him if he had Herbert ahead of Allen & he said yes.
  4. I feel like a homer when I agree w/ that 1st part - but it's hard for me to imagine a GM choosing any QB over Allen right now. It's a great time for QB's, and there are marginal differences between those at the top, but Allen's game is so complete. There really isn't anything he can't do.
  5. Did anyone see that heated debate on First Take just now? They were debating if Allen is a top 5 QB in the league. Keyshawn had him behind Brady, Rogers, Mahomes, Burrow, Herbert & Watson. I actually have issues w/ all of those names being ranked ahead of Allen. I get the deference for Brady, but would anyone really want him over Allen RIGHT NOW? Rogers I can understand more. Herbert has done nothing in the league. Burrow looks to be very good, but hasn't shown nearly the versatility & clutch play that Allen has (imo). But Watson? I don't really get it - not just Keyshawn's take, but a still fairly large group of pundits who can't seem to break away from what they thought of Allen in the draft, or his rookie season. I get that it's not that important, and in general, prefer it when the Bills are disrespected, but it just seems like I'm living on a different planet than some of these guys. EDIT: he also had Mahomes ahead of Allen (which is one I completely get, though I think is closer than most)
  6. S22i. It seems like a really solid bike in terms of stability, though I can't really compare it to anything. The only time it gets a little wobbly for me is when it's a steep incline, and usually just the handlebars & console. I'm a little over 200. It's always good to check Amazon reviews for stuff like that too, just to get different perspectives.
  7. We have the best GM in the history of mankind.
  8. We have too many picks already - I'd be thrilled if they traded up to get the top CB on their board.
  9. I ended up getting a Nordictrack, and it's been fantastic. They have everything you could want - instructor led classes, and amazing scenic rides w/ guides all over the world (and some of those guides can really push you). I'm sure Peloton has the same, but I've been 100% happy since I got the Nordictrack last year.
  10. Life without the GOAT. So far, so good. It will take a long time & a lot of Patriots losses before that team makes the kind of transition that the Cowboys made over the past 25 or so (from supreme hate, to dislike, to indifference & then even to some pity), but we're off to a good start, especially taking 4 out of 5 including a playoff beatdown for the ages. I hope Kraft is looking up at the Bills it the standings for as long as Allen is our QB, and a good 10-year playoff drought for that team would be healing as well.
  11. Good. The AFC talent level is at capacity.
  12. Allen to Diggs will be this generation's Kelly to Reed - except with a Lombardi or 2 to show for it. Or 3 or 4. So, so happy this guy will be a Bill for many years. It would be geat if he retired here. He has meant so much to the turnaround we've had & the general winning attitude.
  13. It's kind of weird looking at the schedule & realizing that we'll be favored in almost all of the games, if not all. My expectations are high, as is my confidence. I think the Bills learned some hard lessons about not buying into early hype last season. I think they're going to play every game with the Jags & 13 seconds in the back of their minds. I expect them to play with desperation from the 1st snap until victory formation in the SB.
  14. I see a pretty heavy CB & Safety draft for the Bills.
  15. I think visiting NYC is different from living there. I visited for many years, and had similar impressions as the OP. But when I started living there, I really grew to love it. For me, it was about discovering "my" NY, and I saw that in other people who I got to know. You make the City smaller & more accessible when you find your niche. I don't live there anymore, but I love going back. When it comes to food & culture, there is no place that's more interesting & varied. I also love the attitude of new yorkers - no nonsense & tough as nails.
  16. The Patriots didn't really have a chance in that 2nd game. And he had absolutely zilch to do w/ the Pats only win against the Bills in the past 2 seasons. Zilch. He never hung with Allen, in even the loosest definition of "hung" imaginable.
  17. Pretty good pick up for the Pats. It's VERY weird that Miami would choose to trade a good WR within the division. I don't really get why teams do that, especially w/ NE.
  18. As long as Da'Rick is still on the roster....
  19. The whole thing is extremely enjoyable. The best part is that we're just starting out. This isn't Allen's 15th year in the league coming up - he's just starting to roll. We have many years of exciting & competitive football ahead of us.
  20. I never enjoyed a game as much as this one. From the 1st drive on. It had none of the periodic nailbiting of most other games - you knew from Hyde's pick that it was over. And there was literally nothing that the greatest coach ever could come up with to slow us down. It didn't exorcise 20 years' worth of demons. But it came close.
  21. I mean, I definitely agree w/ that. This isn't a "celebrating the championship" thread. I just think it's kind of cool that on paper, we're the best right now. But ultimately that's meaningless.
  22. I see some trades on draft day - we have too many picks for this year. Either move up if there is a CB they really like, or accumulate some picks in future drafts. I can't remember ever feeling like we had so few holes heading into a draft.
  23. This past year for sure. The year before? We weren't there yet. We didn't really compete w/ KC in that game (injuries had something to do w/ that, but they were still better).
  24. I'd be thrilled if Allen only ran once or twice a game. I want him playing at a high level for a long time.
  25. Got it. Sorry. I won't talk about the team until we win a Super Bowl.
