  1. The "big splash/big spending" team last year couldn't get the Bills to punt once in 2 straight match-ups.
  2. I remember when we offered some lineman from Atlanta significantly more money, and he stayed there anyway. It's better to be one of the "haves."
  3. Possibly the 1st Bananarama reference in the board's history.
  4. Or, he might not. I like Burrow, but he's not on the level of Allen & Mahomes.
  5. I swear - they're starting to remind me of drought-era Bills. They're not a top destination for FA's anymore, and have to overpay to get good ones.
  6. We need speed AND physicality. Landry would be our most physical WR if we picked him up.
  7. I mean, sure - keep our receiver corps deep, versatile & talented. There are definitely other priorities, but this headline would be an exciting one.
  8. Great move. He brings more versatility to our offense.
  9. Engram would be absolutely amazing here. Talent to spare.
  10. It's the one drawback of being psychotic about the game - he'll play for a lot longer. Good. The Bucs won't be nearly as good this season - and if they do make it to the SB, it will be one more box we can check.
  11. This would completely make the offseason for me. If we got someone like Jones, everyone else is instantly better - Oliver, Rousseau, Epenesa. He's still playing at a high level, and would command attention.
  12. I've been checking it out. I always felt like he was pretty sleazy - but man, does it seem like it was much worse than that. It's always crazy to me how people tend to look the other way when someone has a lot of money.
  13. I'd love to have Shaq back. He played great his last year here.
  14. Shouldn't we try to get Brady as a backup, also?
  15. Beane is about to put on a master class.
  16. I think my hope is this: we win a SB next year, and this doesn't matter.
  17. At first, I was like, "Oh, man - the AFC is even more stacked with QB's now." Then, I was like, "Good luck, KC! The road to the SB will go through Buffalo now..."
  18. Sounds like Jackson is leaving NE, too. With guys like Hightower & McCourtey getting older, that defense is close to a full rebuild. I don't think the Pats will be competitive again in the BB era. Unless he coaches another 5-10 years.
  19. I'll always be grateful for his time here. The off-field stuff was a distraction, but he was so tough & made so many big plays, especially on 3rd down. He brought a great attitude, on every single play. A great Bill.
  20. I mean, kind of a no brainer. I feel like everyone else about the Tre hit, but you know if we got him, we'd all talk ourselves into it within a few minutes. "It's a rough game, people lose their composure, it happens, etc." The ends don't always justify the means, but what he did isn't the same as some of the other egregious stuff that goes on among some of the players in the league. Gronk w/ Knox would be pretty crazy. We'd be the ultimate nightmare for opposing DC's.
  21. He has ALL of the leverage. I mean, why not? Never hurts to ask. I'm not as anti-AR as some. He's a great QB and great for the game.
  22. This would make me happy. You can't let the perfect be the enemy of the good, as they say. The Bills will remain the Buffalo Bills.
  23. The Patriots...aren't they the team that used to win the division?
  24. Players are injury prone, until they're not. What I always ask myself is, "What if KC or one of our division rivals made this move?" It would be very concerning. And the reaction around the league if the Bills did it would be a collective groan (from non-Bills fans, of course).
  25. I mean, this would be an incredible move. I don't know why it's getting some derision.
