I think the Rams are going to beat the Bengals in the SB, possibly by quite a bit. Both the Bengals and Chiefs could have a bit of a hangover next season. I don't think we're missing much - but the lack of consistent pass rush is glaring to me. Focus on that & further adding to the O-line. Next year is the Bills year. I know we thought this year was, but I don't think this year's Rams were a good match-up for us.

Can Our D Become More Versatile in 2022? If So, How?
Success replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
I assume we'll have a pass rush in '22. That alone makes us twice as versatile. -
I'm genuinely worried about Patriots fans. They're just beside themselves online - how could TB have forgotten us? And that follow up message he sent only added fuel to the fire. Those poor things. Thoughts & prayers.

New one! I love it when he didn't mention anything about New England in his retirement post, causing Patriots fans to lose their minds all day....
-
They should figure out a way to put just that picture on the Wall of Fame....
-
It's more of an extended moment - but the 4-pick game that Fitz won stands out.

Pats fans are crying online. "He didn't mention us!" The NFL is so much more enjoyable today than, say, for the 1st 20 years of the millenium.

Don't be surprised if Josh Allen has a bumpy 2022
Success replied to beebe's topic in The Stadium Wall
What is that even supposed to mean? You know, if Mahomes doesn't make that long pass to Hill on the long 3rd down against San Fran, KC has zero Super Bowls. Using that same logic, if QB's didn't complete any passes at all, they'd all have completion percentages under 50%. -
You'll always have the DVD's, Patriots fans. Enjoy watching Allen, Mahomes, Burrow & Herbert for the next decade or so.

It's the old double standard when people compare him to Allen. I saw it in the regular season game. Josh overthrew a WR, and it was because he still had "consistency" issues. Mahomes did the same, and it was due to the weather. If Allen had the kind of mistakes & poor judgment that Mahomes showed again & again this past Sunday, we'd be back to the Houston playoff game and "erratic Allen." I get that Mahomes has a SB under his belt, but he gets a lot of leeway for what was essentially an epic choke, in a game that KC had put away.

My 2022 motto for the Bills is "leave no doubt." Don't let any winnable games slip away, and go into the playoffs like every game is the SB.
-
Now, if Belichick can just follow suit. Think about it, BB. You're going to have the 6th or 7th best QB at BEST in the AFC. Fishing every day is underrated.

Joe Burrow: 'Bengals beat second-best team in the AFC, twice'
Success replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Burrow got a nice shortcut this year. I like him & Cincy, but I don't think they're much of a match for the Rams. Not that they can't win, but there generally are no shortcuts. -

I'm actually expecting an MVP season, 2 losses tops, the #1 seed in the AFC, and a SB championship. And I think I'm being conservative and realistic. -
Bills request to interview Tee Martin for OC Job
Success replied to 17islongenough's topic in The Stadium Wall
They should just let Allen call the plays. -
I have a hunch that the Rams win in a rout. They're really much more balanced overall, and their D is more capable of taking over a game. Cincy somewhat overachieved this year.

Football is a team game.

I like that the playoffs in general are moving away from the teams we've seen over & over again over the past decade or 2. I'm excited for Cincy, since their fans have been through a lot like we have. I'm also excited for Stafford, who really paid his dues. And as others mentioned, it's a stress free SB - something I haven't had a lot of. I hated it when the Pats were always in it, and even last year, didn't want to see Brady win another.
-
After the 1st game, I felt a little better. Now, I'm more of the mindset that we could have won the SB, and probably would have won.
-
Mahomes is OVERRATED. Sorry, but he is. Doesn't mean he isn't great. But somehow, he saves some of his best games for us. He was basically shut out in the 2nd half, at home.

Man, we complain about McD, but some of this is hard to watch....

Not deserved.

I must have missed the early posts, but I've never seen a post of yours that I thought was a troll post. We don't get too many opposing fans here, and to me, it's clear you've just come here to talk football. If it helps, I'm over the loss last week, and I thought I'd NEVER be over it. I'm sure today stung for KC fans, but this too shall pass.
