  1. Most of the jamokes at NFLN couldn't find Buffalo on a map of the US.
  2. This is my position in a nutshell. It's all about being able to run the scheme in an emergency. As to his personal negatives, there are any number of players wbo are jerks and worse who plenty of fans are content to have.
  3. Maybe they'll give him and Rob their own show, The Lazy, Sloppy Fat Assed Idiots Hour. They can bring in Dennis Thurman, IK, and all the hangers-on that follow Wrecks from free lunch to free lunch.
  4. And this is exactly why no one should let you near a GM's office.
  5. 2nd round or later, FA, trade...pretty sure McD and Whaley know what to do. Plus getting another elite target for TT is like getting Grandma a Maserati: looks nice in the driveway but no way will she ever get out of it a fraction of its capabilities. Dennison is big on FBs, big on TEs. What's that tell you about the O he's likely to run with TT's skill set? If Listenbee works out, then, with Sammy, you have guys who can peel rubber when that's needed. WR is among the least of my concerns.
  6. I don't believe the Bills go WR at 10, but I think O J Howard is a real possibility there, because of Dennison's offense & because he appears to be a generational talent.
  7. Turmoil in the coaching ranks is more than likely the real cause. Whaley's been here for Gailey, Marrone, Wrecks and now McD. Each of them had different needs in players. Give Whaley some steadiness at HC and then we'll see if he's any good or not. My guess is he'll do just fine.
  8. I read that regularly and not just with Kelly. But what exactly is this "undeniable talent" people see in him? Because to me he appears to be an erratic talent with a whole lot of flaws. And that's before we get to his spoiled, entitled personality.
  9. Ah, man, now you ruined the OP's thesis that the Bills are clueless and maybe didn't understand compensatory picks.
  10. Serious question: you are new here so maybe you have a fresh perspective on why Whaley should be fired?
  11. I believe this is probably an accurate account of what happened. Benching TT seemed all about avoiding a catastrophic financial hit in the event of an injury in a meaningless game.
  12. We seem to be living in a time when it is acceptable to make a false assertion that is then "fixed" by the asserter. In this case, the OP claims McD is cleaning out the dregs, the lazy, the malcontents and replacing them with finer human beings. Funny, I never saw Woods, AW, Graham, Goodwin or Carp that way. Guess I wasn't paying proper attention. Or maybe the OP is a devotee of alternative facts.
  13. Really nice addition. I wonder, can he play a little FB too?
  14. Thanks for the post. Lots of good stuff there.
  15. Somewhere in the jillion articles and postings and commentaries it seems I've read about TT in the past couple of weeks, there was this stat: in 7 of the 8 loses charged to Tyrod this past season, the offense would have had to score at least 31 points to win. So, yeah. Tyrod had a bad game or a bad series here and there, but this stat puts the spotlight right where it belongs, on the Wrecks Defense.
  16. Thanks for the contribution, newbie.
  17. And what have you contributed since you got here?
  18. True enough. Now how about listing all the QBs that did get drafted throughout the league who didn't become one of those three guys. As a side question, how terrific would Dak have been had he been starting for the Eagles or Rams? My guess is the general opinion would be that he was a bust. A quality team with a good coaching staff can make even so-so players shine.
  19. Sounds like you've been a fan for a long time. Also sounds like you'd be better off moving along. Kind of crazy to keep beating yourself over the head. Plenty of room on the Pats band wagon.
  20. Oh well, if La Cacciatore says it it must be true. Not.
  21. Doubt he can prove you wrong if his very good '16 play did move your needle.
  22. Very heartfelt, Mrs. Mahomes. But outside a mother's love there is reality. And in that reality, young Patrick will join a long line of so-so QBs bouncing around the league as backups. He'll make a good living so you won't have to worry about that. But it would be best for your emotional health if you came to terms with the fact that, in a class of deeply flawed QBs, he's not even the best of that bunch. Happy Mother's Day though.
  23. I check in everyday to see how far this thread can go. So far, 28 pages in three days all based on a ... La Canfora tweet! Holy Moley!
  24. The flaw in the "Suck for Darnold" strategy is that he might not come out after next season. He will only be a red shirt sophomore this coming year.
