  1. If you guys all loved this post, I'd like to draw your attention to the OP's post from Sunday in the gameday thread:
  2. I'll be interested to see if your post gets one thumbs up amongst all the eye rolls
  3. This is why people stink at negotiating. They only think about what THEY need, not what their counterpart needs. The Carolina Panthers traded away their entire future to get up to the #1 overall pick to take a QB. The Carolina Panthers have one good Wide Receiver on their roster. His name is Adam Thielen. Why on earth would they trade away their one good receiver and knee cap the development of their #1 overall draft pick?
  4. For the few plays he was in, he did that fun thing where he rushed 5 yards beyond the QB and completely lost outside contain. A better QB will break the pocket to the right every time he does this.
  5. This is a great plan. It will only cost $26M in dead cap to cut him right now AND we get to play 85 more often. I'm glad we're all thinking clearly after the win last night.
  6. And? Ken Dorsey was the QB coach prior to being named OC and he took a LONG while to hit his stride.
  7. Are we really proposing firing the offensive coordinator mid-season at 4-2 with a top offense? You think throwing a brand new guy in there mid-season will go smoothly? man…
  8. I can see it now... Patrick Mahomes back to throw ... Von Miller in his backpedal ... Sees Travis Kelce sit down in the zone! SPRINTS TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FIELD!! FLIPS HIS HIPS AND STRETCHES OUT FOR THE INTERCEPTION!! RUNS IT BACK 95 YARDS TO THE HOUSE! NOBODY CAN CATCH HIM!!!! GIT ER DONE BEAN!
  9. This is a really weird take. The Bills made a good pick in Bernard, which you hated at the time... and so now, because he's good, he's simply a "scheme fit" and they "got lucky" ... hmm...
  10. The defense effectively runs through Jones. He’s everything we wanted from Star Lotulelei and more. Last year he was incredible and you saw the impact when he was out one game, the Bengals playoff game. He effectively takes on double teams, can rush the passer, is fantastic in run support, and frees up our smaller linebackers. One could argue Groot and Ed are similarly important to the defense, but Poyer, Miller, Hyde, etc., are not as impactful, in my opinion.
  11. ::Derrick Henry's Arm has entered the chat::
  12. In McDermott's presser, noted that DaQuan's injury "will require surgery" Surgery = tear, not a sprain. He's probably done for the year.
  13. As is the new tradition after every loss, send in the clowns! @Mark92 @ThriftyGamer83 @LarryMadman
  14. I’m surprised you found two people to agree with you. Congrats! 👍🏼
  15. It's kinda more embarrassing for Ryan Poles. He turned the #33 pick in the draft into a swap of 6th and 7th rounders in one year. 😬
  16. Because he played for us for 1 season in the last year of his career.
  17. Or ... is he saying Gabe Davis is underrated in an attempt to prompt a 1:1 trade? 😵
  18. He has gotten completely embarrassed all game and Logan Thomas is having the game of his life. Bears twitter is blowing up. Tremaine Edmunds apologists can officially take the L forever. https://x.com/barroomnetwork/status/1710117323439268189?s=46&t=E40WAbu8GsA_XsQdsioRYw https://x.com/aaronlemingnfl/status/1710116973453930777?s=46&t=E40WAbu8GsA_XsQdsioRYw https://x.com/deeksviewog/status/1710117878534455537?s=46&t=E40WAbu8GsA_XsQdsioRYw https://x.com/chicago_nfl/status/1710122431191355795?s=46&t=E40WAbu8GsA_XsQdsioRYw https://x.com/lib_crusher/status/1710121945092542849?s=46&t=E40WAbu8GsA_XsQdsioRYw
  19. The case for "elite QB makes the coach" keeps getting stronger. Different offense with Brees vs Russ. Daboll proving that out as well. Along with our good friend, Bill.
  20. I'd be more into this thread if we weren't playing away overseas against a young, talented team this week. Let's get through this week, then maybe talk about runs.
