  1. Wait a sec… This doesn’t fit the narrative that Brandon Beane hates O-Linemen.
  2. I’d love to see us trade for Josh Jones. Perfect swing tackle with potential to be the outright starter at RT. https://www.revengeofthebirds.com/platform/amp/2023/5/29/23741224/josh-jones-and-his-unknown-future-with-cardinals
  3. Someone call Brandon Beane, we got a new GM available to start immediately.
  4. Ah, revisionist history after one bad preseason game, fun. Ok, let’s go back in time. At the beginning of last season, did you feel comfortable having AJ Epenesa as your starting Defensive End across from Groot with Boogie and Shaq as backups? Sure you did…. and I’m sure everyone also thought signing an expensive Right Tackle and sending our 3rd round pick, who showed upside in his rookie year, right to the bench. Who needs a half of fame DE when you can have Epenesa as your starter coming off 2.5 sacks his first two years? Beane made the right move, it just didn’t work out because Brown didn’t take a step and Von got hurt. Don’t play this stupid revisionist history game.
  5. This is more an overreaction to the Bengals playoff game that people are still butthurt by. The Bills were an excellent team for the majority of last year, then had a ton of injuries. They got better in the off-season in all but one position. Anyone viewing them as Declining is stuck in the early 2000’s and bracing for sadness.
  6. Nice to see Shorter, Kincaid, and Torrence looking good. The rest of the team… yikes. The said, this game was a huge success because Doyle was the only player to go down with a significant injury.
  7. With Bernard injured, Dodson having a rough pre-season week 1 (and swinging his helmet at his own team), and McDermott expressing concern today … let’s explore one potential option that might be available. This write up explains why Queen might be on the trade block: https://www.profootballrumors.com/2023/07/trade-candidate-ravens-lb-patrick-queen - Roquon Smith just became highest paid ILB in NFL. - Ravens drafted Trenton Simpson in the 3rd round of this year’s draft. - Queen is in the last year of his rookie contract ($3.8M). - Queen is rumored to want a new contract, coming off the best year of his career (117 tackles, 5 sacks, 2 INTs, 14 QB hits). To be clear, this is not a discussion of whether he is an elite player or worth a large second contract. If he’s a 1 year rental with possible upside, would you trade a late round pick for him? If so, what round?
  8. Not hating on Dion Dawkins, but Pro Bowl for linemen has been a joke for a long time. Roger Saffold made the Pro Bowl last year. He also made it the previous year when he was horrible for the Titans.
  9. An incredible 4 phase special teamer, who will no doubt be the first person to the ball when they waive for a fair catch and get it at the 25.
  10. I'll come back and post in a little while... For now, I'm just a little Shell shocked.
  11. Great seal blocks from Sherfield and Knox on this run as well. That's an underrated upgrade this year that should lead to some big runs. With bigger bodies on the outside (Knox, Sherfield, Kincaid), we'll break off some of those nice screens and outside runs that the 49ers have become known for. Imagine a 12 personnel formation with Knox, Kincaid, Sherfield, and Gabe on an obvious run down, then we play action pass or screen to one of them. I love how multiple the offense can be with our new weapons!
  12. https://buffalonews.com/sports/bills/von-miller-on-the-voncast-hopefully-right-before-the-jets-game-i-will-be-back/article_c7883354-7041-11ed-bfe4-2fe33da33792.html “It’s going to have to be addressed, but I do feel like I can play through that," Miller said. "So, I'm just gonna wait a little bit, wait a little bit, let the swelling go down for about seven to 10 days. And hopefully, right before the Jets game, I will be back." "Bills coach Sean McDermott ruled Miller out for the Patriots game the day after his injury and said the team would “just see where it goes from there.” Miller reiterated his confidence that he could be back during the regular season."
  13. Excellent work and thank you for posting this. That's all I have to say. I've been thinking anecdotally that I remember many early round picks playing, but this officially debunks the false narrative that McDermott and Beane are slow to introduce rookies to the lineup.
  14. This thread has it all! - Panic over our RT being out for the season because his back was sore after practice. - Multiple posters saying we're in for a long season if Quessenberry is the starting RT in his place. (He's not, we signed Brandon Shell and he's taking all the 2nd team reps at RT) - Suggestion that we should sign a street free agent Tight End to be the RT. - Suggestion that we should bring a guy out of retirement to start at RT. You guys are absolutely killin it. Keep up the good work! 👏👏👏
  15. I remember relatively early in his career Kyle Williams said in training camp “he’s a hall of famer if he wants to be” and that was such a red flag that the front office missed prior to his huge contract. I don’t think Beane/McDermott regime makes that same mistake.
  16. Yeah, nobody would trade a 1st round pick for the best DT in the league in the prime of his career. Cheifs should just give him to us for a 5th...
  17. “The Patriot Way” = we got lucky by drafting the greatest QB of all time in the 6th round and had him start due to injury and we’re perfectly average before and after he was here.
  18. Andy Levitre married a woman from Buffalo then promptly left in Free Agency.
  19. A woman sent a picture of herself to him and he went out of his way to say she’s ugly and needs Lipo. Do you really not see the problem here? Man, I liked you at first, but you’re becoming quite the lightning rod around here. Just be objective. KC has been better than the Bills but the players and coaches are not infallible.
  20. Personally, I love Murph. Chris Brown has been horrific for a decade. You can’t find a more “company man” persona in the building. His worst quality is always making the obvious point and then injecting as much homer spin as possible. I’ve been hoping for his exit for years. It’s the reason I pick literally any Bills podcast over One Bills Live.
  21. Now that we’re at 143 pages, friendly reminder that many of you knuckleheads were clamoring to trade a 2nd or 3rd round pick for this free agent who remains unsigned.
  22. I isolated the point you're trying to make here because it's dressed up in a bunch of other BS. Comparing the 2019 and 2020 Offense to 2022 but disregarding 2021 is kind of a weird thing to do. In 2019 and 2020 we had completely different coaches and Josh wasn't the version he is now. We also had different receivers. Seems odd to ignore the one season where we dominated on Offense in a knockout round... unless you're creating a narrative that doesn't exist.
  23. Nobody hates him. He was welcomed to the Bills and everyone was excited about his success. It was also obvious he wasn't a Franchise QB. He played for 9 years outside of Buffalo and never threw for 1,000 yards in a season for any other team. Buffalo, however, loved him and made the most of his talents. He was fun to watch, but never good enough to be like the guy we currently have ... which is what you're always looking for. I'm glad we didn't settle with Tyrod for another 10 years instead of shooting to be a perennial top 5 offense like we are now.
