Chargers at 7-3 remaining schedule: - Ravens - Falcons - Chiefs - Bucs - Broncos - Pats - Raiders Ravens at 7-4 remaining schedule: - Chargers - Eagles - Giants - Steelers - Texans - Browns Steelers at 8-2 remaining schedule: - Bengals - Browns - Eagles - Ravens - Chiefs - Bengals Chiefs are 10-1 and have a very easy remaining schedule. Chargers aint catching the Chiefs, so that puts them in Wild Card along with one of the Ravens and Steelers. Thankfully, both the Ravens and Steelers have a tough remaining schedule and play each other. If we're aiming for the 1 or 2 seed, we should all be rooting for the Chargers.

Get a big 1-Tech to ultimately replace DaQuan Jones and play next to Ed and Dwayne Carter. If you can find one that also has some pass rush skills, that will cost your 1st or 2nd. Draft Defensive End with your other top pick. Give Groot a running mate to cycle in with Epenesa. Cut Miller while you can. In the later rounds, try to build better depth at DB and maybe OL. Free Agency: Re-sign Coop and/or another solid vet at WR. Players are dying to play with Josh and we can get value there. Grab a ball hawk FS. They are cheap and can have a huge impact. Consider depth at LG because you can never have enough good linemen and David Edwards's injury history scares me a little. Where do you spend the other money? Extensions. Take care of our young core. Groot, Benford, Bernard, whoever is willing to take a deal now at slight discount. Result: Potential monster D-Line and the best defense we've had in years. Better depth on Offense and a nice home grown core of young talent.

My first thought seeing this list: I'm worried about losing Joe Brady and/or Bobby Babich. Both ascending coaches with good backgrounds. The one that would really sting is Brady. It's awful watching Josh have to work with a new coordinator every single year and spinning the roulette wheel to potentially get a Dorsey type character again.

Anybody in this thread doubting whether we should bring him back for $1M'ish either has a very short memory or doesn't know ball. When the Bills lost to the Chiefs in the playoffs last year, wouldn't you have loved quality LB depth to call up from the Practice Squad rather than singing AJ Klein fresh off his couch? Bernard, Milano, and Spector all have significant injury concerns. There is no reason not to sign Dodson if he's available for cheap.

To be clear, I wrote a 1st+, meaning more than a 1st. The Browns needs a full rebuild. They're screwed against the cap because of the Watson trade and everyone knows it. Deshaun Watson is due $73M fully guaranteed both next year and the following year. Time to tear it down before Garrett asks out.
