  1. I don't understand why you would want our leaders encouraging 15 yard penalties... If so, I sure hope you never complained about Rex's "bully" team leading the league in penalties and shooting ourselves in the foot on every good drive.
  2. Cool post bro
  3. He starts next week regardless.
  4. It's crazy that you guys think we would get a draft pick for cutting a player. It's crazier that you think we should cut the one guy that means the most to our locker room. It's craziest to think that if we cut him he will go to a playoff team. If he was cut he would be put on waivers... and the best teams in the league do not have the highest waiver claims. Can we close this thread please?
  5. Bumping this topic .... is it too late to make comp pick cuts? Do we know exactly when the deadline is?
  6. You have got to be kidding me. Do some of you really still not understand why Dareus was traded? When you start your argument with "Dareus was traded for nothing" you have already proved yourself an idiot and I'm no longer listening.
  7. LOL at the guy saying working 9-5 and commuting to work is difficult. Assuming you sit in front of a computer and sometimes go to the water cooler? Man, life is tough. And you only get 2 PAID vacations a year? That's crazy. Would much rather have 250lb men chasing me for a living and causing brain damaging concussions when they hit me hundreds of times.
  8. Do we really have to turn this into a Tyrod bashing thread when our team is 5-2 and we just made a great trade? Cheer up emo kid.
  9. http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/367267/not-finished-dolphins-shopping-jarvis-landry?ls=roto:NFL:topheadlines Is he enough of a character guy for McDermott? The domestic violence accusation looks bad, but if you dig a little further: https://www.floridafootballinsiders.com/will-off-field-issues-jeopardize-jarvis-landrys-long-term-contract-negotiations/ "“I was not in any way physically harmed,” the statement said. “Yes, we are going through a civil family court case and emotions are high, but I would like to make it very clear that Jarvis would never, ever do anything to harm me or anyone else. Jarvis and I are happily raising our beautiful daughter.” Quite a player at a need position. I'm still unhappy with him about his hit on Aaron Williams... but you gotta think he's worth a look. Curious to hear everyone's thoughts.
  10. Haven't seen it posted much around here, but talk about a pleasant surprise! That coffin corner punt was just one of many beautiful kicks this year. http://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/punting/sort/puntsInside20 Colton Schmidt and Stephen Hauschka are giving us a nice edge this year.
  11. A big difference in this year vs previous years is we're finding a way to make big stops when we have to and force turnovers at critical moments. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with luck, but we've seen the defense punch so many balls out and step up in big situations ... one has to believe this has McDermott's fingerprints on it. Very encouraging for the future.
  12. Seems like you're a big fan of Anthony Lynn and believe that if we kept him our offense would be excellent. The chargers are currently 23rd in the NFL in scoring and they have significant weapons at QB, RB, WR, TE, and a strong offensive line. ...and I bet you we wouldn't have a top 5 defense if your boy Lynn was still around. So, either you haven't been paying attention to San Diego's performance... or you think we should have hired Greg Roman to be head coach to keep our offense "in tact."
  13. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/9388/sammy-watkins After 6 targets and 1 reception for 17 yards combined the last two weeks ... Sammy is complaining on Twitter again.
  14. Ill be the first to admit... didnt expect KC to be this good. Sitting are 5-0, one would assume that they will be in the playoffs again, perhaps with a first round Bye. So STRICTLY LOOKING AT PICKS (do not factor in White)... was it a good trade? Bills trade 10th overall pick for: 2017 27th overall pick 2017 3rd round pick 2018 (ESTIMATED) 25th-32nd overall pick
  15. http://www.nbcsports.com/boston/new-england-patriots/stephon-gilmore-makes-several-crucial-mistakes-in-new-england-patriots-loss-to-carolina-panthers I rarely ever root against former Bills, but Gilmore was an exception. Always pouting on the field ... always getting national media attention for being "elite" ... never producing. Looks like he's still up to his "elite" ways in Boston as well:
  16. RGIII was the best rookie QB of all time, won offensive rookie of the year, then turned into garbage. Overreaction in this thread is real right now.
  17. Our defense might be a little overrated right now... Cam missed a wide open throw for one touchdown and we made a few important stands that were 50-50. HOWEVER, there's no denying that this is a significantly improved defense. You know what I love even more? Bills had a top 5 defense before Rex came. Bills had a bottom 5 defense during his tenure, with the same players. Bills have a top 5-10 defense now that he's gone. Pretty humbling for the "defensive mastermind" that is Rex Ryan.
  18. You had me until you said John Miller is barely a starter. Go back and watch him second half of last year. You'll be eating those words.
  19. I actually wouldn't mind this outcome. We would have the 3rd or 4th pick overall in a QB heavy draft and somewhere around the 16th for the Chiefs pick. I'd rather see us miss the playoffs and have a shiny new QB than go 8-8 for seemingly the 20th season in a row and remain in "QB purgatory" forever, hoping for a 10-6 season and a whiff of the playoffs.
  20. My response to the Jills and this thread is: who cares.
  21. For those who aren't aware, BarStoolSports is comprised of a bunch of guys from New England. They are primarily Patriots fans. If you're thinking they're laughing with us, their objective is to laugh at us. I think it has been backfiring nicely the last couple of years though ... people seem to respect BillsMafia around the league and I'm honestly not embarrassed to be part of it either.
  22. Every year, the final pick of the 7th round of the draft is deemed "Mr. Irrelevant." I always thought that is a particularly harsh title. Didn't see this posted anywhere else, but do you guys know who was Mr. Irrelevant this year? The prodigal son (nephew), Chad Kelly. Last pick in the draft. Just signed a cheap 4 year deal today. Good luck to him!
  23. Bob Kraft is an investor that was in the right place at the right time. He got lucky in late rounds on the greatest QB of all time and hired a coach that just failed with the Browns and later turned into one of the greatest coaches of all time. He doesn't know much about football, compared to any NFL GM. He is the money guy. That's it.
