I have the Bills 53 man roster right here
LABILLBACKER replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not a fan of Gilliam or Lewis but the staff love these guys. Just keep trying to trade Basham. Even if it's just a 6th. -
At 6-8 it's probably unlikely. He's an amazing run blocker but ask him to stay with a quick DE....forget it. He can hit the fastball but not the curve.
-
Give me Bridgewater anyday over Kyle or Barkley. Too bad he has anvils for feet when he drops back.

Two week training camp predictions
LABILLBACKER replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
There both garbage like our backup qbs. Groot & Floyd will have to do the heavy lifting until Von returns. I wouldn't be opposed to giving Ray a chance? -
Is Matt Barkley a better fit than Kyle Allen in this offense?

Jordan Phillips, I’m glad we got him back.
LABILLBACKER replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like Phillips but don't love him. He needs to stop getting hurt on stupid plays. He needs to get motivated for more than the Dolphins. Personally I'd load manage his butt so he's fresh closer to the playoffs. -
You couldn't have hand picked a better actor for that role than Burgess.

We need breaks, luck whatever you want to call it. We need minimal injuries. We need people to not die or almost die in the organization. We need better weather in our open stadium. We need better coaching so something as embarrassing as :13 never happens again. McDermott is no Mickey Goldmill. If some or all of this can be part of this upcoming season then yes I like our chances. We're not likely to see a qb as amazing as Josh for another 50+ years so let's not screw this up. "Every champion was once a contender who refused to give up"......

1. You're not wrong 2. He's not recovering 3. And he's not having a breakout year.

Marcell Dareus on Dr. Pimple Popper 🤣

Talent doesn't mean squat if you're lazy. -
Looks like year 6 of Josh running for his life. Yay
-
I had huge concerns for him long before this injury. I have no faith in Doyle or Quessenberry so I guess our OL success stems from how well Shell or Bates play? Our Guards are solid and I'm not moving Torrence. But Dawkins fell off some last year and the Brown/ Q duo was bad. Better do some RT diving after the final cuts.

With Von probably not playing right away, Floyd's ability to put pressure on the qb will be far more valuable than whatever is missing from the Edmunds loss. I can easily see us sign a FA Mike next season as Dorian will be groomed to backup Milano. Bernard was just a terrible selection and poor scouting.
-
I'll go out on a limb and say Leonard Floyd will lead the Bills in sacks. I was so hoping we'd try to sign him. Mafia will embrace this guy.

Stubhub isn't as reliable as it used to be

I also use SeatGeak and have had good success. -
The Fins are one more early Tua concussion away from going after Caleb Williams. I just don't see any realistic path were Tua stays healthy long term. The Bills blowing big leads in the playoffs (Houston/ Mia) feels more like a coaching issue than anything. Whether you blame Frazier, Dorsey or McD is interchangeable. They must find a way of eliminating careless turnovers with these leads.

Nathaniel Hacket - Payton's comments..
LABILLBACKER replied to Spiderweb's topic in The Stadium Wall
How Hackett ever got a HC job in the first place is beyond rational intelligence. And frankly if he didn't allow Aaron to call his own plays in GB, he'd be coaching juco somewhere. To this day I still consider him one of the worst OC's in Bills history. -
Good speed...great separation rate....but ability to reduce drops or master jump balls not there yet.

Outside of MLB, Where are the Bills Worse in 2023?
LABILLBACKER replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have mild concerns with our LT/RT and how healthy Tre and Von will be. Obviously the MLB situation will have to become "best player standing". Was really hoping Elam and Dorian Williams would jump in as starters but that's not looking good? With Kincaid and Knox being asked to block less (unless Spencer fails), I think the 12 personnel will help the receiving corp. -
I'm telling ya this team will only advance as far as our ? OL takes us.

Boogie is a bust and is pretty much done.

Leslie ran our defense?
