  1. Yeah well that should've been the plan for the last 5+ years. Yes we slightly upgraded the interior OL, but our tackles are vulnerable. Dion gave up 3 sacks and 30 pressures last year. And don't get me started on Brown. There's more work needed on the OL if you really want to be serious about protecting your #1 asset.
  2. 1. Chiefs 2. Bills 3. Eagles 4. Bengals 5. Niners Dangerous: Fins, Jets, Lions, Ravens
  3. We'll be fine. We're not falling off the cliff without Edmunds. A rotation of Dodson & Klein can still give us a top 10 defense. And we should be better at run support with those two.
  4. The Steelers/ Seahawks was egregious well beyond incompetence.
  5. The most obvious is Basham followed by Epenesa. Doubt we'd get anything higher than a 6th for either.
  6. They're hungry and angry over the Cincy debacle. Aaron's OL has issues. Things will go south quick if things don't go his way and the NYJ media stoke the fire.
  7. For Spencer that's about right.
  8. How is Settle & Basham ahead of Poona & Ray?
  9. Not a fan of Gilliam or Lewis but the staff love these guys. Just keep trying to trade Basham. Even if it's just a 6th.
  10. I agree. With this small set back I'd just stick him on the PUP. Maybe bring him back in a very limited and gradual role week 6. Then even consider load managing him moving closer to the playoffs. Floyd, Groot and to a small extent AJE can hold down the fort.
  11. At 6-8 it's probably unlikely. He's an amazing run blocker but ask him to stay with a quick DE....forget it. He can hit the fastball but not the curve.
  12. Give me Bridgewater anyday over Kyle or Barkley. Too bad he has anvils for feet when he drops back.
  13. There both garbage like our backup qbs. Groot & Floyd will have to do the heavy lifting until Von returns. I wouldn't be opposed to giving Ray a chance?
  14. I like Phillips but don't love him. He needs to stop getting hurt on stupid plays. He needs to get motivated for more than the Dolphins. Personally I'd load manage his butt so he's fresh closer to the playoffs.
  15. You couldn't have hand picked a better actor for that role than Burgess.
  16. We need breaks, luck whatever you want to call it. We need minimal injuries. We need people to not die or almost die in the organization. We need better weather in our open stadium. We need better coaching so something as embarrassing as :13 never happens again. McDermott is no Mickey Goldmill. If some or all of this can be part of this upcoming season then yes I like our chances. We're not likely to see a qb as amazing as Josh for another 50+ years so let's not screw this up. "Every champion was once a contender who refused to give up"......
  17. 1. You're not wrong 2. He's not recovering 3. And he's not having a breakout year.
  18. Talent doesn't mean squat if you're lazy.
  19. Looks like year 6 of Josh running for his life. Yay
  20. I had huge concerns for him long before this injury. I have no faith in Doyle or Quessenberry so I guess our OL success stems from how well Shell or Bates play? Our Guards are solid and I'm not moving Torrence. But Dawkins fell off some last year and the Brown/ Q duo was bad. Better do some RT diving after the final cuts.
  21. With Von probably not playing right away, Floyd's ability to put pressure on the qb will be far more valuable than whatever is missing from the Edmunds loss. I can easily see us sign a FA Mike next season as Dorian will be groomed to backup Milano. Bernard was just a terrible selection and poor scouting.
  22. I'll go out on a limb and say Leonard Floyd will lead the Bills in sacks. I was so hoping we'd try to sign him. Mafia will embrace this guy.
