Stop telling the world you're going to fix them when you don't. Very disingenuous.
They have been riping him. Cowherd constantly talks about his reckless play although today's topic was more about how much Josh misses Daboll. Josh needs "arm arrogance" therapy and Dorsey/ McD aren't the guys to do it.
No one gets in his face. Probably not Dorsey or McDermott. At least Daboll did constantly when Josh switched to reckless mode. Diggs got in his face and look what the media did with it. Josh MUST tone down attempting these freak plays we're so used to. It's OK Josh to play a little boring once in awhile. Protect the damn ball and reduce the turnovers.
Hero ball Josh wants to skip the 1st downs and go right to the bomb. He could've easily ran for a 1st down on that opening int (Harty). They gotta just keep hammering it into his head. Part of him maturing (and not regressing) as a veteran qb is to "do it" and stop talking about doing it.
I was done with McDermott when I witnessed him butcher 13 seconds. Since then he's been getting a pass by at least 60% of this fan base. Time for processes are over. The culture has been established. But organizational mistakes both with personnel and game day calls has set this team back. Good coaching matters. Until this ownership hires a dynamic offensive minded HC it will be rinse & repeat.
The only tape he needs to watch is that of his giveaways. Less Hailee...less commercials...time to mature and really be a committed student of the game. Not just an athletic freak running around playing hero ball.
He knocked the ball down about as successfully as the hail Murray. Unfortunately Tre has not been the same since the acl. Who knows if he'll ever return to pro bowl level? It just felt like Poyer, Hyde and White were so slow last night.
Josh has to grow up and stop being so stupid. You'd think after 5+ years he'd self correct his reckless mistakes. But he's still doing the same ones.
>Throwing into double coverage
>Not securing the ball
>Not sliding or running OB
>Not taking the short stuff
....yes Dorsey is a problem but last night was Josh being a stubborn teenager.
Can't answer that. Something is definitely wrong with Josh. Thought he would flush the Cincy game but tonight was even worse. Dorsey is a train wreck and not helping his confidence or tempo. But Josh is also to blame in his stubborn inability to correct the reckless mistakes he's had for years.
Josh just doesn't have the same confidence or tempo with Dorsey. Ken is a mess and has to go asap if for no other reason than he fails to get through to Allen.
