This is one opponent I'd definitely go on offense immediately and get points on the board. Our last 2 games they scored immediately and it dictated momentum. If we had a healthy Milano, Von, Jones & White I'd defer and try to double dip.

Stop scheduling money grab games on concrete fields in London/Europe.
-
Just unfortunate we don't get these guys with a healthy Tre, Von, Matt & DQ. Josh better score early.

What would I do without TSW....this is a place to laugh, cry, vent, whine, crusade, snipe, get informed. It's all about comraderie....it's all about the Mafia brethren. Sometimes whether we agree or not is irrelevant. We all want our Bills to get one. And as Augie has taught me, just try to enjoy the entertainment of it all. Don't let it consume you.

Or how bout a naked bootleg when the entire planet knows you're running that failed draw. How many times must Dorsey witness his play fail before he scrubs it completely?

Just compete this time. No more excuses. No snow, no wrong cleats, no Hamlin narrative. Punch them in the mouth.- 63 replies

That's what happens when you coordinate like a child. -
How does one game against a perennial top team indicate their future collective contribution to this team over the next 3 months? I'll need a much bigger sample size before making judgment.

I will always be convinced that last years team when Cincy came to town was physically and emotionally exhausted. The Hamlin narrative needs to be put to bed. The guys have had 10 days to rest up. The 3 new players should help some gaps. Not saying we win?, but it wouldn't surprise me to see us extremely competitive/motivated Sunday night and shock home alone.

Loved all 3 acquisitions. I think Douglas and Joseph can definitely fill in respectfully for Tre & DQ. I also could see both re-signed as primary backups for next season. Fournette will improve our pass blocking assignments and give veteran leadership after Cooks' touches. All 3 are very good complementary pickups by Beane. Well done.....

Bills signing Fournette (for real this time)

This is true and I agree an issue with Josh & Ken. Cook has been open for dump offs in the flat. -
Hot take regarding McDermott and the end of games

Sean got to see Andy's best look at :13. I guess his 2nd & 3rd play was just as good. -
Completely agree....if Ramsey & Donald got hurt, there's no way they go after Von. The problem with us is not only are we missing Milano & DQ, but throw in Tre & Von for good measure. Who knows if or when Von gets back to 100%?....I'm not getting any younger so from a selfish standpoint I'd still like to see us do something. DT or WR....just do it and maybe we go on a 2nd half run?

Trade deadline needs what are your priorities

It's absolutely amazing the impact DQ had on this whole D. Ed looked better, the pass rush was getting home. Matt & Terrell were flying around. We desperately need a decent DT. The remainder of this season with Phillips, Settle & Ford will be unwatchable. I'd even take Suh or Harry. -
Bills signing Fournette (for real this time)

If he can score inside the 2 yard line, he's worth it. Cook is a C/D gap speed runner but will struggle at the goal-line. -
I hope fans can truly appreciate how terrible our DT situation is right now. Phillips, Ford & Settle combined don't equal one qualified roster spot.

Week 9 thread - We’re on to Cincinnati

I can tolerate a jet lag (stupid decision) loss to a quality team. I cannot tolerate losing to the Zach & Mac show. -
I know it was a joke. I just get worked up remembering how often I had to defend my opinion over the years of how over rated he was. At least McB had the sense to move on and hopefully they do the same with Gabe. Milano is and always was our most valuable LB. You can even argue our best defensive player.
-
Weeks 2 & 3 we saw what a healthy front 7 meant to this defense. Now alot of that is gone. Von's still not even close to being ready. And without DQ, the pressure up the middle just isn't there. And obviously Matt's not flying around making Bernard look like a pro bowler. We absolutely must expect a high scoring game. And somehow we have to move "home alone" off his spot. Josh will have very little room for errors. Maybe some deadline help will come? We'll need it.

We got to...at least a decent DT at the very least... -
....and as of a few minutes ago, he's hurt. Thank God we didn't extend him. He'll definitely go down in Buffalo lore as one of our more over rated LB's.
