  1. I'm starting to believe that's the direction he (they) need to go. Maybe not full blown week 1 reckless version but this castrated version doesn't work for him. Open him up and keep stressing ball security and qb sliding. Of course they already exist. That's why you have the desperation of a called players only meeting. Then once the meeting starts different player factions will argue over different problems. It's exactly what McAfee and JJ confirmed. They both said they don't ever remember seeing a positive outcome from such meeting.
  2. If Oliver doesn't play we'll have no choice but to activate Ankou. Pray Ankou/Phillips can hold the line. And tell Settle/Ford to play better.
  3. He's right because they'll be too many different players with too many different reasons for the struggles. Then different conflicts arise that makes the decision for this meeting a disaster.
  4. Ankou will do a better job than Settle/Ford. I wouldn't be opposed to signing Suh cheap. Ankou will be on the 53 very soon. So true. I expected nothing out of Settle considering how bad he was last year. But I was really hoping Ford could step in if needed rotationally. Boy was I wrong.
  5. Give me Dhop for a 5th. At least we'll finally have a WR2 even if he is a short term rental.
  6. Exactly...the refs knew this was a chance at Beli's 300th..."let's pick this sh it up and see what happens".....
  7. It's worth a try....
  8. I think with how injury depleted our team is now, the proper strategy for the rest of this year is get the damn ball and score on your opening drive. Get JA & Co some early confidence.
  9. That's the part of his game I too cannot figure out. Maybe Daboll did a better job of hammering this issue into Josh's head. But you're right, he's a 6 year veteran who has to understand this concept of hot reads. It's like he's still looking deep with a full blitz coming. Makes no sense.
  10. After that reckless Jets game, Josh over corrected and it seemed to work. But in order for him to be happy, he's still gotta continue with what's in his DNA. The true challenge for him is to settle into a version that reduces risk yet still allows him the occasional "wow" play. He is currently struggling mentally finding that middle ground. And you can see it in his somewhat detached demeanor.
  11. Agree, very bad signing and waste of money. Thanks drunk jetskier....
  12. Our systems are way too complicated compared to other teams. And because of this it takes way too long for new players to assimilate. And as far as drafting physical football players, McB are clearly not on the same page. We are a finesse team that requires a lead to succeed. This team has not been physical since JA arrived.
  13. Just spread 100% of Gabe's snaps to everyone else. In other words make him a healthy scratch like Elam.
  14. That's just a normal day in LA.
  15. They should've done this a long time ago. Up tempo, read the D and have 2 plays to call out of.
  16. Terrible idea...I'd rather dump Davis and get DeVonte Adams or a very good DT.
  17. NFL.com said LB Luvu might be a trade option to Buffalo. The money lines up.
  18. He's substantially better than.... Found On Road Dead
  19. I don't give a rats a ss anymore about culture, process or character. This is a full blown offensive league. Go out and get a "scheme ready" clever offensive HC and draft heavy O. You can win a damn SB with an 18th ranked D.
  20. Josh deserves criticism but only some. He should spend more time studying tape and learning how to read defenses. We lose sight of this flaw because of his ridiculous athleticism. But Josh is the type of qb that desperately needs a mentor. Brian was that guy, as Andy is to Mahomes. Josh has no one on this team to go to. This is where I think we're seeing this detachment in his play. Dorsey is clearly not the answer nor do I see him on this staff after this season. Josh needs to improve certain areas in his game, but the majority of the blame goes to Ken & Sean. Year 6 of a mediocre OL....stupid & egregious.
  21. I rarely ever remember Josh going to a hot read this season or last. And with Daboll it was always about going downfield.
  22. Not only that but Taron deserved a flag on Waller. When you need flags to barely beat bad teams, your season is already a mess. Try scoring more than 3 pts in the first half.
  23. Not going to be long winded here OP but this exact plan gives the Bills and Josh Allen the best opportunity to win a SB. I want an offensive HC who can scheme 17 into good situations.
