I remember how angry I was after the Giants game. Even though we won it felt like a loss. This game had heartbreak written all over it after Hochuli did his 10 penalties to 1 act. We had so many opportunities to put them away only to watch conservative McDufus open the door for Hurts and his coaches. If we lose to KC, I'll be rooting for McDermott's immediate firing and as high a draft pick as we can get.

The league doesn't care. We're a very small market team that's relatively inconsequential to the shields greater objectives. Not even the marketing of JA seems to help anymore. We'll always be chasing calls v the blue bloods.

I don't know where pff is getting this ridiculous rating on Dodson but he's been bad all season. I have no problem giving Spector a shot. Dodson has always been one of McDermott's favorite fall to guys. He's just not talented.

Interesting options by the OP but I'm only bringing Beane into my office. I've seen enough mistakes by McD to realize he's never changing or self correcting. If we lose to KC next week, the season will be over. I immediately fire McD and put Brady as interim HC. Babich as DC. Then tell Beane to prepare me a list of the top 3 available offensive coaches. Ben Johnson, Slowick, Brian Johnson or even Harbaugh. Consider them all as best for Josh. I'm no longer putting the defense first.

What's really silly and borderline stupid is people don't realize a HC is responsible for bringing these "players who fail to execute" onto his team. He's responsible for coaching these mistakes and penalties OUT of them. His players are a direct reflection of him.
