  1. I want to see 1 impact play from Von. Enough pitch count. Test that knee....
  2. This makes me feel so much better.
  3. More 11 personnel. More play action. Spread the offense with 3 wrs. Let Josh take off when appropriate. Hurry up or no huddle allowing Josh an early read. Keep looking for Cook out of the backfield.
  4. Please no. Are they immediately panicking because of Harris? We've got 4 starting defensive players hurt or IR. We need a 1T, LB, CB or WR2 in that order. We don't have a run blocking OL good enough to justify this.
  5. Dorsey is a child. To answer the OP, after Allen & Diggs the ability of any player stepping up drops off the cliff. Maybe Kincaid but that's it.
  6. I've said for years it shouldn't even have come down to our soft zone stopping that 3some for 2 plays. He should've walked on to that field with his ST and tell them exactly what to do (short pooch). That was my moment.
  7. He's never had any answers. He cleverly deflects answers into rhetoric. I knew we were in trouble from a game manager perspective way back blowing that 16-0 lead in Houston. 13s just validated how stupid & clueless he is during games. I tip my hat to him for how he administers a team. He's a great HR director, just a terrible manager. We're not winning a SB on his watch. And I'd fire him alone for almost 6 years of OL neglect. And yes even with Torrence, this years OL is still weak.
  8. If he goes to a team that doesn't run the 10 yard cushion zone, then yes he will likely succeed. Terrible wasted pick. Too bad McDuffie went earlier.
  9. We must allow Josh to at least partially return to his strength. Making off script plays and using his feet. Lamar said something yesterday I think also pertains to Josh. He said he's much more likely to get hurt in the pocket than when he's running. I believe this to be true for JA since his most recent 2 injuries were getting hit in the pocket. Continue to stress ball security but stop reigning in Josh. Let him be the cyborg that he is. And go out and trade for a DT/CB. Or maybe a Gabe replacement? This can still be a 11-12 win season. Figure it out Dorsey.
  10. Exactly, get Kirksey & Suh off the couch. Put down the bag of doritos and help those Bills. They can't possibly be worse than Dorian & Poona.
  11. I don't know? Rewatching the NE game, McGovern reminded me of Saffold.
  12. I just don't understand why the #1 duty of all our TE's is to babysit poor OT blocking skills. Can we just replace Spencer and call it a day. More quality teams can overhaul their OL in 1 or 2 seasons. Good Lord Sean, you're on year 6.
  13. Their ability to identify and react to what's being thrown at them is at a snails crawl. That's why our 1st half scoring these last 3 games has been non-existent.
  14. We lost 4 points on a bogus Murray penalty. We lost 3 points on a crazy wind fg miss. We lost another 3 on a failed 4th down. And the deep overthrow to Diggs was probably another 7. That's 17 lost points. Dorsey had no answer for the Belichick strategy and yes Josh didn't play his best game. I would expect TB to duplicate the NE plan verbatim.
  15. I'm starting to believe that's the direction he (they) need to go. Maybe not full blown week 1 reckless version but this castrated version doesn't work for him. Open him up and keep stressing ball security and qb sliding. Of course they already exist. That's why you have the desperation of a called players only meeting. Then once the meeting starts different player factions will argue over different problems. It's exactly what McAfee and JJ confirmed. They both said they don't ever remember seeing a positive outcome from such meeting.
  16. If Oliver doesn't play we'll have no choice but to activate Ankou. Pray Ankou/Phillips can hold the line. And tell Settle/Ford to play better.
  17. He's right because they'll be too many different players with too many different reasons for the struggles. Then different conflicts arise that makes the decision for this meeting a disaster.
  18. Ankou will do a better job than Settle/Ford. I wouldn't be opposed to signing Suh cheap. Ankou will be on the 53 very soon. So true. I expected nothing out of Settle considering how bad he was last year. But I was really hoping Ford could step in if needed rotationally. Boy was I wrong.
  19. Give me Dhop for a 5th. At least we'll finally have a WR2 even if he is a short term rental.
  20. Exactly...the refs knew this was a chance at Beli's 300th..."let's pick this sh it up and see what happens".....
  21. It's worth a try....
  22. I think with how injury depleted our team is now, the proper strategy for the rest of this year is get the damn ball and score on your opening drive. Get JA & Co some early confidence.
  23. That's the part of his game I too cannot figure out. Maybe Daboll did a better job of hammering this issue into Josh's head. But you're right, he's a 6 year veteran who has to understand this concept of hot reads. It's like he's still looking deep with a full blitz coming. Makes no sense.
  24. After that reckless Jets game, Josh over corrected and it seemed to work. But in order for him to be happy, he's still gotta continue with what's in his DNA. The true challenge for him is to settle into a version that reduces risk yet still allows him the occasional "wow" play. He is currently struggling mentally finding that middle ground. And you can see it in his somewhat detached demeanor.
