Too late. They really effed this up. First not realizing that Peterman can’t play in the league. Then by not keeping McCarron who is at least a functional NFL backup. Or getting someone better in the first place. They had to know they weren’t getting their first choice at QB and might need to do a Mahomes - type redshirt year with their draft pick QB. Just terrible

Just bizzaro world with this HC. On this team, Kerley was easily a WR 2. It’s great that Zay Jones is playing so well and all.... wtf?

Daboll has a lot to prove, and can’t exactly rest on his past successes. He hasn’t earned the benefit of the doubt. Josh Allen will make or break his career. Other teams, namely the Eagles, have given a blueprint of how to develop a talent like Allen. While there are differences with Wentz and Allen , the skill set is similar. The passing concepts used with Wentz and even Foles ( especially in the SB) are exactly the sort of thing Daboll should do with Allen. The limitations of Peterman are more than obvious at this point. Fans will have to see what sort of game plan Daboll comes up with for Allen before his skills as an OC can be assessed.

Of course, those guys were actually allowed to pretty much abuse the QB. The guys hitting Allen now are restricted in what they can do. Imagine if Brady played in the ‘80’s and 90’s. He’d have been retired years ago.
