  1. Nah, just makes the evidence against Peterman more damning. Hobert managed a 40 passer rating as a Bill without reading the playbook.
  2. I think the tide would win. Really.
  3. The Bills should probably give Matt Moore a call. Or others. Not Kaep.
  4. He’s not just a distraction. He’s bad for business. That = no job. He’s apparently good for Nike’s business, but they cater to a different demographic that thinks he’s “ cool”.
  5. The Bills don’t need a better OL for the WRs to be “ truly” evaluated. These WRs are terrible. Half of them can’t even catch a pass, or run a decent route. Did you see any highlights from NFL games yesterday? Literally every other team in the league has WRs making routine catches with ease.
  6. His realtor. He may want to find some rental housing in WNY for the next while.
  7. Actually , it’s not a rebuild year. The Bills FO has continually said things like “ were not where we want to be” or “ we have a long way to go” . But a rebuild year is implying something is actually being added, and in many areas it isn’t. That’s because of all the contracts / players that were jettisoned and the cap purgatory it created. They had very little money to spend, and were barely able to field an actual team. The talent is 2nd and 3rd tier up and down the roster. It reminds one of the mid ‘80s when Ralph Wilson was pinching his pennies and the Bills were the joke of the NFL. I’m not sure Nate Peterman is even as good as Bruce Mathison or Joe Dufek. The Oline is putrid as well.
  8. There is no time that would = KAP. Some things are bigger than trying to win a football game. Just my opinion.
  9. This ^. We know the Bills called Bradford first thing in FA, but they didn’t want to / couldn’t pay him . All things being equal, no QB was coming here with virtually no WRs. It was a tough spot, but one they created and they failed to get a decent vet QB to hold the fort down until Allen is ready. Nathan Peterman is a complete joke of a QB.
  10. At least he was able to find the positives in today’s game.
  11. Seeing as the Bills could lose at Lambeau by about 142-0 , I’d say it didn’t end all that badly. They had a chance to win on the road vs an elite QB and will have better days ahead. That Bears team is farther along in their “ process” than many think. At this rate, the Bills might be good in 2022.
  12. I can’t disagree with this. The best coaches are able to handle a diverse group of personalities. The bloodletting of talent from the team has been remarkable.
  13. To be fair, that’s for the people running the team. Fans don’t make a damn bit of difference as to who plays, who gets drafted, who gets signed etc. if fans weren’t emotional they wouldn’t be fans.
  14. It might. It’s a little early to say they’ll never win anything with Trubisky. He’s not Rodgers, but neither is most of the league. There aren’t 32 Rodgers to go around, so you build a team around a guy and hope he’s good enough. It’s not as if every team can find one of those QBs you’re talking about. They don’t exist in every draft class. I disagree. It’s the difference between feeling sooooo close ( the sun comes up tomorrow and there’s another game to play) and SO far from even being able to play the game at a non remedial level. The next game is just the next horror show to dissect on Monday.
  15. It’s reminding me of the 2001 sad sack bunch. Avion Black and Brandon Spoon anyone?
  16. I thought it was a bad sequence by Nagy there. Two plays to get 10 yards and he seemed like he wanted 20+
  17. Not borderline at all. Late and hit to the head. A legit call.
  18. This one ain’t over.... and Mack is still on the field.
  19. I don’t know about all that. Seems as though the decision has made itself.
  20. Yep. You were right if that was your assessment . I’m surprised many would argue with you.
  21. Reggie McKenzie and Davis traded Mack. Not Gruden. They simply didn’t have the $$$ to pay him with their relocation fee and all. Even Carr did them a solid and took a back loaded contract. There was zero chance they were paying Mack that money. Has nothing to do with a HC. Not his job.
  22. Its what to expect when a rebuilding team drafts spectacularly . Seriously, that was one of the best drafting streaks in the history of the NFL. If only we could be so lucky to have Beane do anything approaching that rebuild.
  23. True, but there may have been another move that could have been made to get to that spot. I’d still rather have Watkins here and have them maneuver their way to drafting Allen somehow. I know it’s wishful thinking, but man this WR group is pretty tough to watch.
  24. Does there really need to be an argument for starting Allen at this point ? If one needs to be convinced, I suppose the best argument for starting Allen would be Nate Peterman.
  25. Zero positives to take out of this. An absolute smack down that resembled Ohio State vs the little sisters of the poor. Flush it and forget it. An epically horrible performance the likes of which hasn’t often been seen. Even by Bills fans.
