  1. True, but there may have been another move that could have been made to get to that spot. I’d still rather have Watkins here and have them maneuver their way to drafting Allen somehow. I know it’s wishful thinking, but man this WR group is pretty tough to watch.
  2. Does there really need to be an argument for starting Allen at this point ? If one needs to be convinced, I suppose the best argument for starting Allen would be Nate Peterman.
  3. Zero positives to take out of this. An absolute smack down that resembled Ohio State vs the little sisters of the poor. Flush it and forget it. An epically horrible performance the likes of which hasn’t often been seen. Even by Bills fans.
  4. Damn. That offense would be looking pretty good right about now. What a difference .
  5. He definitely isn’t. Man, I’d like to see Allen throwing to Sammy Watkins. I still hate that F’in trade.
  6. I want them to. They’re so far off Mack will be 30 before this team will be close. The OL is worst in the league and those guys don’t get found in FA very often. Elite WRs are getting close to QB money if you can get one. Most good teams were comprised mostly of draft picks. Mack is great, but it’s like putting a pissed off exhaust system on a fiat.
  7. He probably couldn’t have been. Raiders wanted to trade him out of conference . They gave two firsts. What would it have taken to persuade them to mov eMack in conference. The Jets and Browns wanted him too. It’s not all that simple. The Bears have a QB already and a top ten D. They were building toward this. The Bills are still at ground zero and need to draft a top WR and OL. Heck, maybe even another QB. They just weren’t close enough to make that deal.
  8. A dog pile with a diamond on top.
  9. It helps, of course. Just wouldn’t look anything like da Bears.
  10. I disagree. This wasn’t a very good defense last year. They looked like a steaming pile of crap today, I don’t see Mack changing that very much. I don’t think this roster is very good at all.
  11. When added to a pretty solid team....
  12. Bears were a top ten unit last year, as Collinsworth just stated. The Bills are sooooooo far from this.
  13. Agreed. He’d be one great player amidst a pile of crap.
  14. Mack is freaking good
  15. Also, I have to think that if that Bears DL fell on Brady like that a flag would be thrown.
  16. I suppose. Just I like to keep see any QB who has the potential of keeping the Lombardi trophy away from Belichick and the evil empire healthy for the playoffs.
  17. Not really. Reggie McKenzie felt strongly about moving him out of conference. The cost would have been beyond what Chicago had to give up.
  18. Once ain’t enough.
  19. Well you never wish injury to Rodgers. Brady , on the other hand....
  20. Aren’t all offensive coordinators offensive minded ? It doesn’t really matter if the OC or the HC is calling the plays, you’re getting an offensive minded coach either way.
  21. Blame the Pegulas. Having to pass on a QB because the new coach didn’t the new GM to have no say in the pick. It’s all tied in to the Pegulas hiring Rex. They should have totally cleaned house and had a new GM in place as well. Total tire fire that could set the team back years.
  22. Or did the Bills trade McCarron too soon ?
  23. I don’t think it would have mattered if Peterman was named the starter back in July.
  24. Time will tell...
