Let’s just shoot him

He should have caught that desperation throw from Josh, but one pass does not make a career.

Are you saying that the only thing that will suit you is to have a guy that sets records like Bowers did?

Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?

Here’s the thing. They gave Josh two new weapons in Palmer and Moore. You not liking their choices is not the same as the team not giving him any new weapons. -
No reason not to

If I knew how to put you on ignore I would. My point is Brady’s offense is perhaps more suited to Palmer because we spread the ball around more. Period. Because you don’t like a point doesn’t mean there isn’t one. My last ever response to you. Wallow in your negativity. -

I hope you are satisfied at this point. Going into this off-season the concern voiced by many is the lack of separation and a guy that can stretch the field. Palmer ranks high in separation ability and Moore gives the speed guy (I’d also suggest a healthy Samuel can get down the field). It seems clear to me that Brady believes in his everybody eats philosophy. As of today you have 5 WRs, 2TEs and 3 RBs that can all get out there and get the ball from Josh. You have a strong O line and a complementary running game. And based on last year this offensive philosophy works pretty well. -
Thought Exercise: Best Bills QB (99-2017) who'd be JA17 backup

I’d say Tyrod. He’d offer a running option which is closest to Josh’s style of play. -

I thought you and I had reached a point where we could discuss things collegiality. But I guess I was wrong. My very first sentence I said if Beane had traded for Metcalf or swung a deal for a guy like Jefferson, what did I say? Fine. I then just threw out a theoretical on how that might affect the offense as constructed by Brady, and you give me this. Let me know if you want to be collegial or not. If so, great. If not then let’s just ignore each other’s posts. -

Again if Beane had done that, or swings some huge deal for say Jefferson, fine. But let me challenge your assumption a bit. Say you have Metcslf. Does Josh go back to feeling he has to feed him X number of balls a game? And does it alter Brady’s everybody eats approach that resulted in a very effective offense last year and an MVP year for Josh. No way to know of course, but right now we have 10 guys that can get involved in the pass game -5 WRs, 2TEs, 3RBs. -
I think the good thing about Brady and the way he does things is that this list could, and will, change week to week depending on the matchups he sees. I think Cook is a real weapon out of the backfield for sure. But Ty Johnson did a good job on 3rd down, Davis made some good plays, and so on. Going into this off-season the main complaints were not having guys that can separate, and not having a guy that can stretch the field. Now I don’t necessarily agree with these, but Palmer gets a lot of separation, and Moore gives them a speedier guy. Josh has 10 guys he can throw the ball too; that’s what Brady wants and Josh did pretty good with that approach last year.

Look at numbers. The Chargers focused their passing game on two guys: McConkey and Johnson. They got about 40% of Herbert’s targets. In comparison Shakir and Kincaid got about 20%. So in my opinion Brady’s everybody eats approach might serve Palmer better than Roman’s where he didn’t get many looks. Palmer may get more looks, be the big target some games, not get many looks the next. But won’t the 3rd option all the time necessarily. Herbert threw for more yards? Fine. Again, the Bills ran the ball for about 400 more yards too. Different philosophies means just comparing raw numbers doesn’t tell the story. Unless you’re saying you’d trade Allen for Herbert because his raw numbers are better. I suspect most would get a good laugh out of that. -

Bills rushed for about 400 more yards on the season. I think Brady’s schemes will help Palmer more because our offense is more balanced. Everybody eats. I hope with this post you’re not trying to argue Herbert is better than Allen. -

I suspect teams are scared to death of Josh Allen -

Who’s your defensive surprise of the year?

Williams. We all love Milano but he is injury prone. I think he’ll get hurt again and Williams will step in and excel. -

I hope they do some stuff together before camp. After the Royal Wedding of course! -
Camp can’t start soon enough. We’ll have actual football to discuss.

A serious question for you. Why are you seemingly obsessed by this? A number of folks, myself included, have said to you that this is what actors do. I have pointed out to you that my daughter is an actor and that they are trained to be able to do scenes and leave it behind when the job is done. They have specific intimacy coordinators for such scenes; my daughter would tell you that such scenes have nothing romantic about them given the direction that goes into them not to mention being surrounded by cameramen and crew. They go out on travel junkets with fellow actors to promote their films. And yes they are friends with fellow actors with whom they have done such scenes, but at the end of the day they all have lives. Lives that include their wives, husbands, children and so on. But you just want to ignore all this. Let’s say instead of the role Hailee had in this film, she plays a role where she is a psychotic murderer. Would you be here worried that she would grab a carving knife and stab Josh in the throat one night? You have indicated your profession is psychology. If you had a patient who, despite getting input from numerous sources as to the lack of harm about some conduct, refuses to accept it and continues with ungrounded fears, would you as a professional be concerned? Josh and Hailee from all accounts appear quite happy and if rumors are correct will be getting married later this month. Why not celebrate the love this couple shares instead of being fearful of non-existing monsters lurking in the dark?

I was in Downtown Buffalo a few years ago and didn’t recognize the place. They could accommodate a crowd where Highmark is now and where the new stadium will be situated.
