Hate to say it, I’m the optimist around here. But may be time to turn out the lights on this one. -

Just need to play solid football. No stupid illegal formations, make sure you cover gaps and set the edge on defense, solid blocking and pass pro. Good basic football. And Josh being Josh. -

Yeah, that speed over 3 yards was amazing. The DB completely whiffed on bumping him. -
So 3 of 5 are hurt. How many IR guys can contribute to a team’s success?
-
We are not who we are based on one bad game. I don’t anticipate three turnover games as a constant. Take it a game at a time, play well against Atlanta, and pick up another win.
-
Start Ingram over Tre. Throw the ball to the running backs. Blitz more.
-
I didn’t say they’d lose 5-6 more games. I don’t think anyone expects that. It was one loss where they didn’t play smart. Can we dial it back a bit?

Game week thread - Bills at Falcons MNF

You seem to want to put a negative spin on things because of the one loss last week. I don’t. Enjoy feeling the way you feel. Interesting points. I want to see us use the RBs more in the passing game. Josh talks about Ty Johnson being the best 3rd down back in the league but they’re not using him much. -

I think we tend to come back and play better after a loss like last week. I hope we see some personnel changes. I want to see Ingram instead of Tre to begin with. -

I think both coordinators didn’t do well last week. But as for other games as I said above the differences between teams in the NFL is not as wide as many assume. This week’s game will also likely be closer than many think. Some will look at the Falcons loss to Carolina and assume we should dominate. But the Falcons have Bijon and a pretty good D. -
You keep saying their easy schedule. Just as one example, would the Eagles fans had said the Giants game was easy? The Chiefs for the Jags? The difference between teams in the NFL is much narrower than we tend to think. We will lose a few more games this year. So will the Pats. The Bills need to step up their game to be sure. No one would deny that. But there seems to be an assumption they won’t or can’t. I disagree.

Week 6, Bills v. Falcons, PREDICT THE SCORE!
oldmanfan replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills 31, birds 27. -
Maybe panic is a bit extreme, but so is saying it’s realism that all of a sudden we are not a good football team. Three turnovers lost the game last week; that is extremely uncharacteristic for the Bills. The offense despite everyone complaining about it is one of the top offenses in the league. The defense actually played decently last week, but needs more consistent performances from a lot of guys. Last week the team played dumb football. Too many stupid penalties, stupid calls, just overall stupid. That will not likely recur.
-
The panic over one close loss is over the top. The Pats played a good game, we didn’t, and we still should have won. And I’m sorry but they do teach tackling and catching the ball, but the coaches can’t do it for them.
-
The Chiefs are playing what could be the best team in the league this week. They lose and they’re 2-4, and they haven’t looked like the same Chiefs all year.

Yes. All teams get injuries. It’s a physical game. The Patriots will lose a few you don’t think they will because that is what happens in the NFL. The Bills will win games you don’t think they will because that is what happens in the NFL. The doom and gloom stuff around here because of one game is just silly at this point.
