Brady is like Coach Boone being schooled by Ed Henry. Ed Henry was way ahead of Boons, so he had to switch it up and give him something different. Going into the game, the offense led the league in yards per game. But Miami was way ahead of Brady last night and he did nothing to switch it up. Let’s see the 4+1 formation from last year. Let’s put Coleman in motion to try and free him up? Quick slants? Throws to RBs? Pick plays? There’s a lot that could be done.

I hope someone asks Brady this week about the 4+1 formation that was very successful last year. That is why I think it’s more on Brady.

Both. I’d say more Brady. With a similar receiver set last year we used that 4 + 1 formation and no one could stop it. Where did that go? Where did who Josh called the best third down back in football, Johnson, go?

The O line was bad, we lost our best receiver when Kincaid got hurt, the D did not play well in part because of all the injuries, and we had 3 turnovers. If we don’t make the payoffs Beane and McD should be held to account for their performance and a change considered to be sure. But let’s drop the crap about purposely trying to spite fans. We did not know the D would be a huge issue week one.

How many guys have we lost on D?

It is not over, but they stunk today. There was not one good unit out there today. The O line had a worse outing that they did against Atlanta. The WRs were poor, TEs marginal, Josh did some questionable things. The D line showed the effects of so many injuries, because the D line sucked the LBs were bad, and outside of Hairston getting a couple picks the DBs were meh. Coaching was bad especially Brady. So an overall terrible effort. Does that mean it’s all done? No. We’ll get some guys back and if we make the playoffs, then anything can happen. But if we lose Kincaid for an appreciable time it will be tough, Does it mean you toss everything in the shredder? No. It does mean guys like Milano, Tre, Poyer, and others will not be around. It may mean we look at the OC and DC, and yes HC, for changes. But you have Josh. Cook. Kincaid. Young guys ready to step up on D. This is one game. One stinker of a game. But one game.
