  1. Because it’s a chat room and that’s what we do. Your opinions have no more value than anyone else. How was this draft going to change it?
  2. Film on Palmer when they got him. Look, bottom line is I don’t think your opinions mean squat. And vice versa of course.
  3. You have guys like Hamler who are precisely what guys are moaning about not getting on day 3 this weekend. I have watched some. Palmer upgrades Cooper. What was your solution in this draft? There weren’t these stud WRs you apparently want.
  4. Were we going to get one on day 3 of this draft?
  5. I’m sorry. Do we now no longer think guys can improve after their rookie year? Or that guys with torn Packs and other injuries won’t get better?
  6. What WR could we have drafted in round 5 or 6 that you feel would be an automatic upgrade over guys on the roster currently?
  7. Shavers takes Hollins spot. We’ll miss Hollins more on special teams than anything. Palmer upgrades Cooper. I cannot for the life of me understand all the angst over a WR #5.
  8. The problem is you consistently bash the team.
  9. That’s why they got Palmer in free agency.
  10. Palmer, Coleman, Shakir, and Samuel are your top 4. Shavers is #5 and takes the role Hollins had. They got Palmer because statistically he separates well and gives them a downfield threat. Next.
  11. Oh I see. Only specific rounds count. Thanks for clarifying.
  12. What WR in this draft was going to change that?
  13. Incomplete as I would grade any draft until you see how guys pan out. But a draft is supposed to shore up weaknesses and our D has been the issue. So it was good to focus there.
  14. Who? Which one had a high ranking that he’d be whatever you want to refer to as a #1 WR? Who ranked higher than the guys chosen?
  15. We signed a guy in free agency that has a high ranking for ability to separate. Now give me a day 3 guy that we could have gotten that would have given us anything over guys already on the practice squad like Hamler.
  16. You have a guy like Hamler sitting on our practice squad with speed. You also got Shenault in FA. And Palmer has shown he gets separation downfield. Do you honestly believe some random 4th round pick is the answer to a question that Brady seems to have answered? If he just wanted a guy with speed last year he could have elevated one and didn’t
  17. We’ll see what the kid has. It wasn’t a good draft for WRs. I continue to laugh at folks who complain about not helping Josh by not drafting some WR in mid rounds when we already have guys on the reserve squad like that. We improved the WR room with Palmer and by extending Shakir. Biggest priority now shifts to Cook and his contract.
  18. My big tub of goo!!!
  19. Always want us to draft a big tub of goo. He may not be as gooey as I hoped but seems like he’ll be a solid contributor.
  20. I was only 9 years old but I was there at the Rockpile!
  21. Not shocking in any way.
  22. Don’t know who’s be first, but I’d definitely put myself last. I don’t have near the knowledge of all the nuances that would go into evaluating players
  23. I’d take Lofton in his Packer years. He was a little older with us. One of the problems with these kinds of questions is that there are so many folks here who haven’t seen the guys from years ago. Those who saw Jerry Butler play would understand why I’d pick him.
