How many trades will be in the first round? 3. 3. Will the Bills trade up, back, or stay put? Stay put. 4. Will DHop be traded today? (doesn't mean he is traded for a first round pick). How many QB's will go in the first round? 5. 8. Will ESPN cut to commercial if/when the Bills make their selection? This is the way. 9. TSW Mock Draft 3.0 Poll - Who should the Bills take at #34
JohnBonhamRocks replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Avila. 3 years starting experience. Team captain. Versatility across the line. Let him compete at LG, C, RG, and RT. Not a single sack in 515 pass-blocking snaps in his final season. Protect JA17. -
TSW Mock Draft 3.0 Poll - Who should the Bills take at #27

I say take Flowers at 27 and trade a combination of mid round picks and/or Oliver for Hopkins. -

TSW Mock Draft 3.0 Poll - Who should the Bills take at #27
JohnBonhamRocks replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah that trade makes no sense especially when you see it next to the other trade option. Is there a salary retention aspect to either we should know about? Edit: Also, I love Flowers as a cost-controlled prospect, but that second trade is too good to pass up and 34 seems a better spot for overall value. Edit edit: Switched vote to Flowers after trade clarification. Think Cole Beasley+ combined with John Brown+. Dude can work the middle and stretch the field. -

The wheel is turning and you can't slow down, You can't let go and you can't hold on, You can't go back and you can't stand still, If the thunder don't get you then the lightning will. -
Rodgers Traded to Jets Officially
JohnBonhamRocks replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Anyone pretending a HoF QB to NJ doesn’t matter is just that - pretending. Still, if NJ does crumble and miss the playoffs, then it will be all so much sweeter to watch. -
Not that it’s exactly the same, but Beane has drafted the same position in back to back rounds more than once.

The game against Chicago in 2014 when Fred Jackson carried the team (and a couple Bears) on his back for the W. Was driving back to Buffalo from Indiana and the further I got from Chicago the worse the station reception got. I believe it cut out completely right before OT. I was not happy… until of course I learned we won by 3 in OT.

I was fearful this was going to be another thread waiting on the Cardinals to make a trade

Bills / Fanspeak / Difficult 27: R1 P27 OT Paris Johnson Jr. - Ohio State 59: R2 P28 LB Drew Sanders - Arkansas 91: R3 P28 WR Jayden Reed - Michigan State 130: R4 P28 S Ji'Ayir Brown - Penn State 137: R5 P2 EDGE YaYa Diaby - Louisville 205: R6 P28 OT Nick Saldiveri - Old Dominion

Agree somewhat, but think Cook, Shakir, Benford, and to an extent Spector redeem it. Even more so if Elam and Bernard turn the corner. Now, Araiza and Tenuta… yeah… no.

Thanks for the list! I’d be surprised if Kuntz is a UDFA.

Wish we drafted Wypler over Benton during last mock so I voted Wypler. Protect the Franchise. -

How dumb of a mistake to make and cost yourself hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars. Feel for all the dynasty FF managers who held on to Jameson all year and now gotta wait another 6 games. -
Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?

Personally not sold on Hyatt due to limited route tree. Seems more like a 2nd round guy to me. -
Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
JohnBonhamRocks replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
I really want Hopkins just because he is an elite all around WR. Outside of him, I think getting Allen guys who can separate is most important as he took his first significant developmental leap after getting Beasley & Brown who were at the time statistically 2 of the best separators at WR in the league. No need to win a contested catch when the CB can’t stay with the WR for more than 2 seconds. -
Sean McDermott excited about calling the Defense
JohnBonhamRocks replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Do you know which game was that one time? -
I’m hopeful McDermott’s reportedly more aggressive defense will also employ those versatile chess piece types more often. Whether that’s a DE/OLB/Edge or Big Nickel guy. The defense was already doing it a bit with its safeties and using DEs inside to rush. It also opens up the types and number of prospects you can consider in the draft and FA.
