  1. One of my favorite - was going to say non-Bills players, but he did stop here for a cup of coffee before retirement. Loved how he played the game. Just learned his son, AB Jr., is a freshman on the UB Bulls basketball team. Maybe a future WR prospect for us at 6’4” 194 lbs?
  2. Macy’s at the McKinley Mall should be close enough
  3. It’s not just on here, compliment vs complement. I see professionals, news articles, etc., get this wrong all the time. It drives me crazy. No one cares if, after Coleman makes a catch, Shakir runs up like “Nice job, buddy!”
  4. Hot take: My expectation going into every year with JA17 as QB is to win the Super Bowl.
  5. Arm length or lack thereof might act to remove any complication even if Kromer sees him as a possible OG
  6. Like a combination of him and Terrence McGee with those returns
  7. Interestingly, two of those fastest 40 guys are currently on our roster with one projected to start, one of them recently started for us, and two remain FAs today.
  8. Other than not personally loving Coleman as a prospect, and even that I am coming around on, and wishing we double dipped at WR, I really like the rest of this draft. Seems like, as this post indicates, we got good value at so many positions of need, including a solid back-up HB, OL depth (maybe even starting C), DL depth, and LB/ST depth.
  9. Every year we get at least one PS fan favorite at WR and the way this year is shaping up it seems we are in store for a huge amplification of our annual ritual
  10. Just based off production, give me Tyler Boyd: 1000+ yards in 2018 & 2019, 800+ yards in 2020 & 2021, 762 in 2022, and 667 in 2023. Seems a solid floor to me even if he is not the typical burner that would really balance out our WR room.
  11. Excited about Xavier Johnson. Think he could be essentially Samuel’s back-up. Gets snaps from the backfield.
  12. Smart move to make a 7th round pick actually stick with us with that extra practice squad spot. Keep betting on upside.
  13. Frankly not thrilled because I am a Worthy guy and not a Coleman guy. What confuses me most is that this regime seemed to put an emphasis on separation as a key trait for their WR room and I do not see Coleman as a good separator. Watching him, he seems to lack that electricity and speed to his game. His reliance on physicality is something I feel is tough to translate to the NFL That said, he is physical and in ways very athletic. We’ve missed his big dog, the ball is mine, type of pass catcher. He blocks. He rarely drops the ball. Seems he will get along with JA17. Not real excited about him if I’m being honest but keeping an open mind and of course will be screaming my head off for him.
  14. Yeah, I think him on the outside will be the least significant way he contributes, but what I saw was he knows how to use his body well out there even if his size is limited
  15. Looks like our punt returner, backup slot, and outside CB3/4 out the gate. From the 4-5 min highlight video I watched, seems he can tackle, blitz, boxes out and uses the sideline well, and is electric returning INTs and punts.
  16. Don’t worry his gauntlet is great so if the ball gets thrown his way 7 times in one play then we’re golden
  17. Not saying I want this trade to happen, but would a way around the purported impossibility be to have Deebo redo his deal to one that fits under the Bills cap while still a 49er, execute the trade, and then rework the deal? A bit of handshakes and trust required of all parties but within the realm of possibility I think.
  18. I like McConkey for his route running and versatility where he can line up but feeling like it will be Mitchell whose RAS and WR1 potential seems like a Beane type of prospect.
