  1. I proposed something similar where instead Oliver goes to CHI, Hopkins goes to BUF, and draft picks go to ARI.
  2. I’d rather sign a cheap vet like Murray and avoid further draft capital being allocated to maybe the least valuable position in the league outside STers. Use the draft primarily to keep taking swings at the high cost positions that aren’t fully settled on the roster: OT and WR to start, then DE and CB.
  3. Are they undersized? Yes. But Flowers beats guys deep and also make deep contested catches. Similarly, Addison wins on all 3 levels. I do not think we should be targeting a player in the 1st round who will play primarily outside anyways. I’d rather have versatile chess pieces who can be moved around wherever. Inside or outside, the ability to separate is imho the most important trait and both those guys have it.
  4. Murray was solid last year. Enough that he was one of my back-up fantasy RBs… like Mister Defense said… on the Broncos! I think Murray is going to be a great new starting ILB for us.
  5. IMHO Flowers and Addison can both play inside and outside.
  6. On replacing Tremaine Edmunds: "Sometimes your answer is on your roster." https://buffalonews.com/sports/bills/bills-gm-brandon-beane-on-free-agency-replacing-edmunds-obj-and-more/article_d9be1eac-c43e-11ed-906a-f74f0e2c9955.html
  7. I think he’d complement Milano and Bernard well. He’s downhill but can still cover some.
  8. Does the Bills passing on Wypler in the 2nd ensure he’s the next Creed Humphrey?
  9. Can someone please explain to me the gap in talent between Benton and Ojulari? The latter seems a good choice at this pick to me and I’m unfamiliar with the former.
  10. Ideally I’d like a guy who can come in with versatility enough to compete at OG and/or RT his rookie year but who will end up being the starting C. (Like Avila…) Maybe they view Bates as the next C though, I dunno.
  11. ^ I think OT competition for Brown ain’t a bad choice, but maybe more importantly I want Morse’s heir apparent.
  12. Gotta give a GM props if they know when to cut their losses and recoup something
  13. Looking less and less likely Avila slides, agreed. Hope he does! I think JSN, Addison, and Flowers are good picks at 27. True alpha WR1’s? No. But certainly WR1B-WR2 type guys. Flowers is small but still wins at all 3 levels and makes contested catches. Addison also wins at all 3 levels and is a route running technician. JSN I think will only be a bad pick if his medicals prevent it. Johnson, yeah, he’s good but maybe more of a Shenault-level WR. If we could make our pick this year another year, then I’d be all for it! But I think we have to use it on this draft. Maybe you’d prefer a trade down for picks next year, but this team needs contributors for this season. I wanted Reader badly that year. Great value for round 5. Been missing the days of Pat Williams and Sam Adams in the middle.
  14. I mean, I was half joking, but I do think most of these posts are probably a result of doing a GM/FO a favor than actually polling every NFL GM/FO. IMHO, regardless of whether they are a "WR1", there are 3-4, maybe 5, WRs I'd be happy with at 27. Definitely JSN, Flowers, and Addison. Johnston probably too (haven't looked into him much b/c he's likely not making it to 27). Maybe Hyatt. The draft OL early and often bit? You're speaking my language. To me the best value seems to be Avila in round 2 if he lasts to our pick.
  15. I’m trying to understand why ARI would cut him. Get something in return. Still holding out hope for a 3-team trade sending Hopkins to BUF, Oliver to CHI, and draft picks to ARI.
  16. Which is the exact reaction Beane hoped to create when he asked Nagy to post this “news”
  17. Prioritizing in general yes. Positional value prioritizes WR and OT over LB though. Campbell would have to be decidedly better than Addison or whatever OT. I don’t think specifically the Campbell vs. Addison has a clear cut BPA winner, but imho Addison will be the better pro.
  18. On your first point, likely gone but would not be shocked if he fell. A run on QB and CB could happen. Plus I think anywhere from 3-5 WRs could go before him. On your second point, I think one of those RTs who could either stay there or move inside would be a decent way to split the baby so to speak. Gouraige, Bergeron, Voorhees, Asim Richards, etc.
  19. I think his floor is solid WR2 and ceiling is low end WR1, kind of a WR1B. Knows how to run a full route tree and is a technician. Production. Quick, good accelerator and separator. YAC. Can play inside and outside. Can beat you short or deep. Smart football player. I'd be very happy with him at 27.
  20. Exactly https://ras.football/2020/01/20/stefon-diggs-ras/
  21. Torrence B. Jones Mayer Washington Addison Flowers Hyatt Downs Rice Campbell Sanders
  22. I hope the real NFL draft has a secret message board thread with all the GMs posting in it just like this.
  23. Looked at the OP and for a moment was pretty shocked Kirby Jackson went 1st overall
