It’s really too bad that Jerry would be a needed addition to our current DE room. Just the way it worked out with the timing of Miller’s arrival and otherwise youth movement at the position, and I’d bet he’s happy to be back in Texas. But dang, Hughes as a second/third best pass rusher would be beyond solid. - - - Rapp figures to be one of the key signings to our offseason imho. Something about his addition and the switch to McD calling plays has me feeling he will be involved way more than your typical 3rd safety.

As the roster stands today, Flowers. We shored up the OL, can get a LB later in the draft, and Diggs/Flowers/Davis as top 3 WR is very solid. Not against further OL help though!

On my admittedly brief dive into interior OL in the draft Avila seemed like a good fit who we could get in round 2. What do you like about him?

Same thing every time the Moore to CLE thread gets bumped next to this one. I see something about “WR traded” next to Hopkins and get let down.

My guy so what do you think gets it done specifically? 137 (5th round) and 205 (6th round) for Hopkins straight up?

Thanks. Yeah I dunno maybe I’d alter my initial post’s trade proposal a bit, but Hopkins netting a couple 3rd round picks isn’t crazy. Not sure 205 from the Bills would do it.

I do recall seeing those. I would think Cooks would impact Jeudy more than Hopkins. I think Cooks is great and a model of consistency, but Hopkins should still get a better return.

Not for nothing, DPJ was one of the most consistent WRs last season if my memory serves.

WGR this morning discussed how 8 teams have 2 WRs in the top 30 of PFFs rankings from last year. (Hopkins was right around or at 30 overall. Diggs was 5.) Of course that’s not necessarily the same as paying for top contracts.

That’s 14 penalties and 13 sacks on 3,011 snaps. So, every 111 snaps he either commits a penalty or gives up a sack. Not bad! Can we just never EVER have he and Morse make physical contact with each other?
