  1. I think one of the more interesting debates is whether we should be prioritizing targeting competition for Brown at RT or a guy who can come in to compete/start at OG with the long term plan being Morse’s heir apparent at C. Probably need to take a swing at each at some point this draft.
  2. Avila seems to be a very popular 2nd round pick to mock to BUF
  3. Fanspeak: 27: R1 P27 WR Zay Flowers - Boston College 59: R2 P28 C Steve Avila - TCU 91: R3 P28 S Ji'Ayir Brown - Penn State 130: R4 P28 LB Ivan Pace Jr. - Cincinnati 137: R5 P2 TE Zack Kuntz - Old Dominion 205: R6 P28 OT Richard Gouraige - Florida
  4. My Mock: 27: Jordan Addison - WR - USC 59: Steve Avila - OG - TCU 91: Noah Sewell - LB - Oregon 130: Luke Musgrave - TE - Oregon State 137: Jartavius Martin - S - Illinois 205: Shakel Brown - DT - Troy Tear it apart.
  5. Ironically enough, Jim is forgetting 2 key guys to this analysis both named James: Lofton and Cook.
  6. Agreed, but assuming they add to Mahomes’ targets, starting off with Kelce, MVS, Toney, and Moore ain’t half bad.
  7. The question then becomes… Klein or deKlein? I think he’s a good LB3/4 and like him as a player generally. Don’t want him starting or playing significant snaps especially in passing situations.
  8. I expect Allen, Knox, Diggs, Dawkins, Morse, Miller, Rousseau, Milano, White, Poyer, Hyde, and Bass to all play for Buffalo well into their 40s, so really no worries anytime soon.
  9. I’ll take BS clickbait article title wording for 500.
  10. That or his market has cooled so much he’s visiting CFL teams
  11. I’d be cool with Addison, JSN, or Flowers at 27 if they fall. One of those 3, Diggs, and Davis is a solid top 3, especially with Shakir, Harty, and Sherfield fighting for snaps. You also never know who might be cut between now and September.
  12. I’m not against further OL help high in the draft. But if we haven’t gotten Hopkins then adding a WR on a possibly 5 year cost-controlled deal sounds like the better route. Flowers to me is just the most dynamic option.
  13. Nope. His playcalling signals will be essentially clapping in a Morse code type of pattern.
  14. Flowers over Hyatt. Also switched my vote to Wright because I’d take him over Hyatt but not Flowers.
  15. It’s really too bad that Jerry would be a needed addition to our current DE room. Just the way it worked out with the timing of Miller’s arrival and otherwise youth movement at the position, and I’d bet he’s happy to be back in Texas. But dang, Hughes as a second/third best pass rusher would be beyond solid. - - - Rapp figures to be one of the key signings to our offseason imho. Something about his addition and the switch to McD calling plays has me feeling he will be involved way more than your typical 3rd safety.
  16. I doubt things are moving so slowly this is just happening. Seems like they’d have been doing this for a while now. That, or I’ve let this thread take over my expectations.
  17. As the roster stands today, Flowers. We shored up the OL, can get a LB later in the draft, and Diggs/Flowers/Davis as top 3 WR is very solid. Not against further OL help though!
