  1. Was the character since the 60's a voice-over part?
  2. What gets me is the trumpet player doing the horse neighing at the end. That kid was ultra talented and my sons friend would have had the part this year.
  3. This one's bittersweet. As a freshman my eldest made it into the honors band in high school. Every year at the holiday concert they play Sleigh Ride (and invite past members back). When my younger one saw this performance he was blown away. Me too. Youngest is a freshman now and there's a good chance he would have made the honors band and joined his older brother on stage this year. So a big middle finger to covid, but hope you enjoy high school kids crushing a classic:
  4. Was his sport basketball?
  5. Want a song that's indelible, like manimal,I hope you never see me wind upWhat is wrong with this animal?I'm terribleI hope you never see me wind up
  6. Does or did he play a team sport?
  7. That's right! Did your guy ever appear on the same show as Adam Lambert?
  8. Damn, thought for sure I had it.
  9. Does he have the same last name as a the middle linebacker behind the Steel Curtain?
  10. Is his first name biblical?
  11. @Gugny is on the clock! Sonny died tragically while skiing at Heavenly. I didn't get a chance to sneak in the clue that he also had a political career.
  12. LOL, not JBJ. His musical group was named after two people not one.
  13. Yes, but by no means a virtuoso.
  14. Not known as an actor but did some acting. No known as an athlete but his death was sports related.
  15. Next up is a dead American male.
  16. Well then it's Ernie Pyle.
  17. LOL, I had to look it up. I knew I'd recognize the name, but no way I would've gotten it on my own. Well maybe with this last clue.
  18. The private believes that any answer he gives will be the wrong answer.
  19. So a war correspondent?
  20. We all want a SB victory, that's freaking obvious. But every year that goal is more realistic for some teams than others. From a conversational standpoint, I think it's either lazy, ignorant or arrogant to call every year that you don't win a SB unsuccessful. Going into this season I thought the most important measure of success for the Bills was #17 taking it to the next level. IMO, we've seen that and it's is far more important to me than winning the SB this season. I want to go into every season thinking we have a shot at winning the SB. Right now I feel like we have the guy behind center who can do it. If I still feel that way after this season (and post season) I'll consider it a successful season. When Josh is hoisting the Lombardi in February I'll consider it a highly successful season. Go Bills!
  21. Team or individual sport?
  22. It's not you, it's me.
