  9. So the husbands industry is finance and industry? What's hers?
  10. I keep a ziplock bag in the car. Mostly Taco Bell but you never know when you might need an extra ketchup or Chik-Fil-A sauce or whatever. We finished the basement this year so my boys would have their own gaming/TV room. Wifey showed me the Taco Bell sauce packet throw pillows they are getting for Xmas earlier today.
  11. Probably not what you had in mind, but here's a youtube clip of Rick Astley joining the Foo Fighters on stage a few years back. Warning: Rick has a potty mouth.
  12. I wouldn't say the NFL is better than ever, but it's still damn good. If there's an NFL game on TV chances are I'm watching it. Can't say that about any other sport. One thing about todays game is it feels to me like the majority of games aren't decided until the last two minutes. I don't remember last minute game winning drives - successful or not - being as prevalent as they seem to be now. I turned on MNF the other night and just as the game was starting Levy made a comment to the effect that they should just skip forward to the end of the game. Can't imagine his bosses appreciated that comment but my point is that to me it feels like we're getting a lot more down-to-the-wire exciting finishes.

  19. Was this guy an actor? If so, tv or movies?
  20. Has any other fan base been happier at a 162 game ban for a 24 million dollar man? My 14 year old made a good point that I hadn't considered. If MLB has another Covid-abbreviated season the 162 game ban will be extended to the following year.
  21. Interesting to speculate why he was still taking. 38 years old, 3 years left at around $24 mill per year, skills diminishing so a safe bet he's on his last contract and he flushes away $24 mill? For what?
  22. Taking nothing away from the Diggs catch which was phenomenal, Beast-ley's was better IMO. Maybe because I don't expect Beasley to make that type of catch.
  23. Why are you surprised that it's newsworthy if it should have happened years ago? Personally, I think it's worth noting and nice to see, but I don't think an all-(fill in the blank) officiating crew should ever be a goal unless fill-in-the-blank is pro.
