  1. Not a military man. I had to look this up - he was a mortician. But his TV appearances were not related to his profession.
  2. Well I guess some consider his passion a religion, but no. Since that probably isn't that helpful, I'll throw this out there: He has a horrible connection to Buffalo.
  3. He didn't sell the product he was closely associated to.
  4. One of my guilty pleasures was listening to Joe & Evan the day after a brutal Jets loss. After a brutal Jets win might be even more entertaining.
  5. Agreed on Luck, we'll have to wait and see on Lawrence. But why didn't you include Josh along with Aaron and Patrick 😄
  6. No need for sorry, just sharing opinions. Luck had a nice career, but IMO he'll be largely forgotten. Through no fault of his own. If Lawrence goes to the Jets and has a Luck-type career I'll be cool with it. WRT twitter, if you are referring to Captain Andrew Luck (https://twitter.com/captandrewluck?lang=en ) that was outstanding!!!
  7. Yeah, I get it. Me and my boys were all in rooting for the Jets today. But I do think we get carried away with fear of the can't miss QB. Luck was one of those guys and his career didn't come close to fulfilling the expectations - and that's not meant as a swipe at Luck.
  8. Taro's comps weren't very good but the bolded is valid. Who was the last 'can't miss' college QB? The one that comes to my mind is Luck. Didn't exactly set the world on fire. Trevor may very well do just that, but history says it's not the slam dunk folks make it out to be.
  9. I like our chances against anybody, but it doesn't look like there will be an easy out in the AFC playoffs. Conference seems less top heavy to me. Should be a great post season.
  10. Oops, not familiar with her - but I don't get out much.
  11. It dates back to some great moments at the end of Kyle Williams career. Impressive that it's spanned a number of years.
  12. Camera work today was abysmal.
  13. Erased one guy and went hunting for another
  14. I've lived my entire life on Long Island. As a 9 or 10 year old I had no interest in the Jets or Giants so the decision was made to root for the other NY team and I've never looked back. Good times have been few and far between but it feels great to be back in the saddle. To paraphrase a line from Full Metal Jacket: "These are great days we're living, bros. We are jolly blue giants, walking the Earth — with Josh Allen. These teams we vanquished here this year are the finest we will ever know. After we rotate back to the off season, we're gonna miss not having anyone around that's worth beating ."
  15. Not an authority per se, but I'm sure he had in depth knowledge in his domain of interest.
  16. No movies but he's appeared on TV. He passed away in the 2010's.
  17. My guy has appeared on TV but not as a reporter or politician.
  18. Hombre.
  19. @4merper4mer hasn't been heard from since the Hathaway connection was revealed. Hope he's not in a dark place. Up next is a deceased American.
  20. Julie Andrews?
