  2. Was he an athlete or athletic supporter?
  3. I'm not sure how far we'll go this year, but we are legit SB contenders. I didn't think that before tonight. Good times!
  4. Josh threw for 238. We won, but you weren't entertained. Did I get that right?
  5. Had the same conversation with my boys. I'm not sure if it works with the cap and his contract, but from a football standpoint it looks like a fit.
  6. Daryl Johnston made an interesting point today suggesting that the downfall of Wentz can be traced to Reich leaving Philly.
  7. Yes!!!!!!! Hall of Famer, did commentary for multiple Super Bowls, and had a starring role in a TV series. Those were some great guesses along the way. Like I said, as I was answering I also came up with Alex Karras, but Meredith and Dryer were damn good guesses. Well done. And with Sunday night kickoff imminent, only one thing left to say: GO BILLS!!!!!!!
  8. LOL, you couldn't get much closer to the correct answer. It's a pretty safe bet that Dryer attended my guys funeral.
  9. Another great guess, but no. But I wouldn't be surprised if my guy sacked Dandy Don at some point. Definitely played against him.
  10. I am a huge Tomlin fan. From where I stand he looks like a true leader of men. But the sideline trip will always stick with me. It's a major blemish. For the most part, I'm able to look past it , but it will always be there.
  11. I root for two teams that were pretty bad for a long time but turned it around recently. The Bills went with a young unproven coach and GM. The Islanders went with a coach and GM with proven track records. In both cases I feel like there's a shared vision and mutual respect between the two. That's a good place to be and I hope both teams can maintain their upward trajectory with stability at coach and GM. I'm actually most concerned about Lamoriello's age but that's a topic for an Islanders board.
  12. The situation was tricky, I was feeling so proud The bass and the drums, the music so loud She asked me if I would stand by her side And I knew that I would till the end of the night She's automatic, so automatic The way that she moves, the way that she moves
  13. Incorrect.. My guy was more accomplished than Karras in both of his other professions. I actually thought of Karras after the fact and kicked myself because I could've crowned the winner with this.
  14. You're a dumb @ss. Anyone with inside info knows that the play is for the early morning signing of Kyle Orton. Substitute Dawson in your scenario with the knockout punch Kyle Orton and not only do we win the game but Kyle secures his legacy with a spot on the wall - which by the way he already deserves!
  15. Sorry missed this - 1940's.
  16. Played the starring role in a TV series in the early 80's. Also reached the pinnacle of success in two other professions.
  17. Looked it up for accuracy and the answer is both. But for the sake of this thread - and not being an obfuscating d-bag - we'll stick with TV. If you know his movies, God bless you.
  18. Not at all.
  19. The gentleman in question passed away in the 21st century.
  20. It is not.
  21. Actor and other.
  22. White male, no longer with us.
  23. Pete Rozelle?
